I booked a table in advance as a gift for my girl. Unfortunately it was raining very hard but the welcoming was very warm and we had a nice Billecart Champagne, a glass of white wine and a genial strawberry gin praline offered in the wait for the table wich was not ready... the storm apparently messed up their service plans and it took around 30 minutes for the table. We had the menus and the wine list, wich comes in a tablet...maybe it's me (old fashioned), but i would have preferred a classic paper one. Too much time before i've learned how to use that technological device and choose my wine, came a beautiful mix of amuse-bouche. Then the white wine i've ordered comes, but is not really cold. After this we had really a lot of many other suprises, and they were all amazing, coloured, fresh and tasty. Then came the bread, and butter and a little plate shaped like a pond with a tree in the middle, wich i didn't realized what it was. At the end of the meal i discovered it was for the olive oil, but nobody served some to us. Also, to have more bread was quite difficult to attract the attention of the staff.
All the plates of the menu where incredible (lobster with green curry, mullet with balsamic foam and pata negra, entrecote with really nice side of maltagliati). Then we had another round of surprises and the dessert.
Although the Maitre and a girl where very helpful and enthusiast, the rest of the staff seemed a bit confused about times and infos about the plates; it is not a complaint, everything was BEAUTIFUL, but i suggest to fix something in case you wanna get the Third ;)
The location is wonderful and we also spent some time on the private beach as it stopped raining.
Thanks again for your hospitality.
