If you fancy seeing a little bit of real-life coastal Italy that hasn`t changed in decades, then this is the place.
Sweetly untouched by the outside world, perfectly clean, right on the beachfront, no nonsense family run affair.
Our evening meal was rustic and filling, altho we`d had a long drive and were almost too tired to eat. The family were more than helpful and attentive, but it helps if you know a fair bit of Italian, as their English wasn`t the best.
We stood on our balcony and watched the nightly passeggiata along the seafront.
Amongst the mad drivers and motorbikes, families walking in the road with pushchairs and children, no-one wearing seatbelts and kids sat on drivers laps, and the hubbub of our hosts continuously running across the road to their cafe with what was obviously very popular amongst the locals, it all made for a very fascinating enjoyable evening.
Nothing fancy, not the prettiest of towns/seafronts, but we`d definitely do it again, and highly recommend it as a stopover point.More
