This was one of those trips where you arrive at 8p and have to leave by 5a the next morning. But in less than 12 hours we had a relaxing swim, a great night's sleep, an early continental breakfast and got to interact with a friendly and helpful staff at this very clean, well-appointed property.
I stayed one night with my daughter while in the area to do deer hunting. After a nice dip in the pool and a restful sleep, we had to be up at 4:30a and going by 5a, which is 90 minutes before the hotel's breakfast is available. But the friendly front desk people offered bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit and milk for us to take along to the deer stand. I was able to fill my thermos with hot coffee, and my daughter got hot chocolate, with the staff even offering a few extra hot chocolate packs for her to take in her hunting bag.
Overall, this was a great hotel experience at a nice property, even if it was way too brief.More
