The hotel is definitely clean. The people are frinendly. Just like many other small hotels, this one is also owned, managed and run by a family. It was nice to meet them. The hotel is close to (5 min walking distance) Mavra Voila (the volcanic pebbles beach). there are 5 taverns in 2mins distance. Price/performance ratio of the hotel is optiumum.
there is a small but clean pool cleaned by an auomatic robot every evening.

Nice little hotel in the village of Emporios. Clean, modern and spacious. Good breakfast, nice pool area and friendly service. However, not exactly ideally located as it's far from everything else on the island and the village itself has nothing else but a mini-market (really mini!), a few tavernas (some good - Lava Stones, Porto Emporios; some not so good...) and one beach (the famous Maura Volia with its dark pebbles, undoubtedly beautiful but really not a place where you'd expect to lounge around for a whole day, not to speak of every day).
All in all I wouldn't really recommend staying in the village because of the aforementioned reasons but if you don't really care about these things, Hotel Emporio Bay is certainly a nice hotel.

We've visited this hotel every summer for five years in a row now. Our most recent visit was as amazing as ever.

The location is excellent, just around the corner from a quiet bay with a choice of tavernas. There are excellent beaches in the area within 10-20 minutes' walking/driving distance.

Breakfast is always a highlight with a variety of delicious pastries and jams.

The rooms are clean and comfortable with plenty of space.

One of the reasons why we keep going back to this hotel is the owners. Ilias and Giouli are always friendly and helpful. We were on such a high after our fantastic holiday that we stupidly left behind a massive piece of luggage this year and didn't realise it wasn't with us until we were waiting to board our ferry back to Cesme! It was too late to go back for it so we immediately gave Ilias a call - he was an absolute star and went above and beyond to reunite us with our luggage. Not everyone would have done that.

On another note the owners also run a car rental company. If you're staying at the hotel they can provide you with a rental car for a reasonable rate and meet you at the port with the car. It's all hassle-free which is another reason for us going back to this hotel year after year.

Excellent location, very small quiet bay, very close to Mavro Volio beaches. There are nice restaurants around. Tasty breakfast, friendly personnel. Rooms for two people on the ground floor are nice, clean and spacious.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are better than half basement ones.

We stayed at the hotel for my birthday. The place was nice and clean. Far from chios port may be but was worth it. It was near Mavra Volia and Komi beaches and Pyrgi, Olimpi, Mesta, Lithi and Chios museum.
