This is as good as it gets for family-orientated self catering.
A small complex of architect designed 2 and 3 bed cottages, scattered around a secluded valley. Modern, high spec. Good beds, well equipped kitchens.
Very quiet, safe (gated) and peaceful. More than a base - a nice place to be.
In season has Cafe Azur open (see TA ratings)
In season outdoor pool. Also small but modern and warm indoor pool.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Nice touch is events - in our stay it was Halloween - there was a programme of pumpkin carving for children, and in the evening a campfire session with an amazing professional storyteller.
We stayed as 3 generations, with grandchildren 5 and 2 who love it.
We have stayed in lots of self-catering places in UK and Europe and NZ. This is one of the best.More
