I have stayed here many times on my genealogy trips to this area of Ireland. Miriam is great, the food is wonderful, the service could not be better and it is perfectly located. I should have written this review a year ago.

Room Tip: I have stayed in two different rooms, they are all excellent.

Our stay at the Old Bank was fantastic. The room was gorgeous; exactly as it looked on the web site. The service was great and the breakfast was amazing. We would recommend The Old Bank to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. Charming and luxurious. Good value for money

Room Tip: We had a street facing room and there was no noise at all

We stayed at the Old Bank B&B on December 19 & 20, 2014. My family of four- 2 kids, 11 &8 and my husband and I LOVED our stay here. We hesitate to stay at B&Bs, but this one, and its owner, Miriam, came recommended to us so we thought we would give it a try. It is in a tiny town called Bruff, with a few pubs (including the tiniest pub we have ever been to- if you go, ask Miriam about it), a beautiful church and a great location to get to a lot of nice areas to see. Our rooms were fantastic- well taken care of (Miriam's kids help with the cleaning and upkeep- which I think is fantastic), great beds, great baths. The breakfast was wonderful- good options (full Irish breakfast, pancakes, omelets) for both adults and kids. Honestly, Miriam is what made the stay great- she has wonderful Irish cultural stories, gives great advice on the best ways to get to your destinations, what destinations she views are good to go to. etc. She is running a B&B, has 4 little kids and somehow manages to make you feel at home. While here, we visited the Cliffs of Mohr, Lough Gur, Bunratty Castle and Folk park, and Adare Manor's Hawk Walk (which my kids thought was pretty amazing). It was a great location for all of these! Thanks to Miriam for a wonderful 2 days!!

We just loved this B & B. Our host was the most welcoming, friendly, entertaining host on our trip. Our room was fantastic. We were placed in the 'honeymoon' suite and at our age that was a surprise!!! Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We tried the black pudding which had been made by our host's husband (he's a butcher) and were mightily impressed. The township of Bruff is small but welcoming. It has what we probably think is the smallest pub in Ireland and we were welcomed there as if we were long lost family members.

The Old Bank B&B in Bruff, Ireland was amazing. It is in an absolutely lovely little town, with a wonderful owner and incredible rooms. Everything was extremely spotless, breakfast was delicious every morning. Everyone is so helpful. It is very accessible to local attractions. They have parking, but parking in front of hotel was very easy. I would definitely return.

Room Tip: All rooms are good

Perfect hosts!!
The rooms are all very cosy and furnitured with much taste and love.
Exquisite and typical breakfast. The host - Miriam - is extremely friendly and you are soon on friendly terms with her. Down in the library, it's lovely to chat beside the fireplace in the evening. This B&B can be highly recommended when you come and visit this wonderful part of Ireland!
