Gonsua beach is another beautiful beach along the South Goa 25 km beach coastline stretching from Cansaulim beach down to Betul beach.
Gonsua beach nestles between, it's larger and noiser neighbour Majorda beach, and Sunset beach to the left towards Colva.
It is has beautiful white sand which leads down to the waves of the Arabian Sea. There are 3 Beach Shacks there which provide sunbeds for free to guest eating in the shack.
Everyone has their own favourite shack, ours is Alex Place Beach shack is here on Gonsua and the food here is wonderful.
There is a variety of water sports available from paragliding to various bouncing inflatables.
An ideal place to stretch out on a sunbed, watch the world go by, read, have a snooze and then a refreshing swim. Occasionally, when the sea is calm, it is possible to see dolphins swim past.
This is a small, clean and quiet stretch of beach along this mighty coastline. The beach is about 10 minute walk down the road from Alila Diwa Hotel. The walk is like a nature trail there is so much to see en route (see posting in Majorda Forum - walk to Gonsua beach a nature trail).
One of the nicest times on the beach is, when sunbathing and swimming done for the day, to sit in the shack with a cold beer and watch a beautiful Goan sunset, nothing quiet like it.
There is also a lifeguard on duty during the day.
