It is a lovely property and we were very comfortable however disappointed that we could only have breakfast between 8 and ten. As we had an appointment at Michaelhouse at 8 we consequently missed our breakfast which we had paid for. We were not told at booking that we could not have an early breakfast which is the norm anywhere else.

This place is well worth it. Sleep in the luxury suite if possible. The space in the room and the views of the lovely animals just outside is second to none! We were close to all the places that we wanted to see in the area like the wine estate, Mandela Capture site, Howick city centre etc. We will be visiting again for sure!!!

Spacious, and very comfortable, the room has everything you need and more. Lucia provided friendly and prompt service. Enjoyable breakfast. We will definitely visit again. Lots to do in the area. Nice restaurants close to venue

Visited the Midland Meander on Monday & Tuesday this week and took a chance by not booking accommodation. We were at Piggly Wiggly and spotted wildebeest over the R103 and noticed the St Ives, took a chance and popped over. Helpful receptionist got us into a couple of standard suites...be warned reception can close early! No food on site on a Monday but lots of helpful hints as to where to go. Suite was perfect and included a microwave and eating utensils. Breakfast was great. Grounds fantastic so we had a free mini safari.
