We had intended to spend one week at Unity Park ... but due to flight delays, we ended up there for two weeks. Although we had booked out, we were welcomed back with open arms (the staff are hospitable and friendly). Our rooms were serviced every day (air con is available) ... clean sheets, towels AND beautiful fresh flowers left behind. The shared kitchen was handy, the market was a short distance down the road if you wanted fresh fruit and vege ... or a cheap meal (so very delicious)! There is so much to see and do on Espiritu Santo. Hire a car ... find the Millennium Caves, Blue Holes, local markets and beaches. You may have to pay a tiny amount to access private Blue Holes ... but well worth it. We'd stay there again ... rather than at more expensive accommodation ... if only for the 'local feel'. A happy experience for our family.

Room tip: We chose an air conditioned room ... making adjustment to heat easier for us. We spoke with most of the guests during our stay, and understand all the rooms are clean and tidy.

Unity Park Motel has been home to me for 5 months from July 7th 2014 to November 2014. Whilst on work assignment I must say that the time was well spent with the friendly staff of the Motel.

The Care takers Mr. Bani and Chelsea always go out of their way to make you feel at home. Marian and Iris Botleng are always there to make sure that the rooms and facilities are always clean.

The Market is close so is my work place. The shops and taxis are there at your fingertips. Mari, the Manager always brings fresh pawpaws from her garden and shares with the guests. For anyone going to Luganville for work assignments,

Please choose Unity Park Motel as it will save you heaps. Tours can be arranged through the staff as they will be able to choose the best tour for you. For divers, ask Bani John who will be able to direct you to the appropriate people.

Bani John is a stock man by trade as he will spend the night telling you about horses and cattles and anything related to the farm. Ask him about how to dance Hip Hop with the horses and he will show you how good he is with horses. Stories like these will make your evening well spent. My son Jamie Mahit (6 yrs old) came and spent two weeks and just loved it. Bani made him ride a horse... The staff are very friendly.

I recommend Unity Part Motel to anyone and of course Unity Park Motel is one of the safest motel in Luganville where you can rest at ease.

Room tip: Ask for the room upstairs, I stayed in room 9 and later in room 13.

Our group of four stayed here for a month. The place is a little run down, but is very clean. The staff clean your room and make your bed every day, the kitchen hasn't got the best equipment (not having a microwave meant we couldn't reheat the food we cooked as readily as we wanted). The staff are very friendly and are always smiling (santos is generally like that i guess). across the road there are food huts which you can purchase a meal for about $3-4AU and markets where there are fresh fruit and veges which are ridiculously cheap.
The bedrooms are not airconditioned, and if you leave any cans of soft drinks around ant will find them. The windows are meshed which keep the bugs out but some people found the mattresses a little thin and were slightly uncomfortable. The wifi is also temperamental and only a limited number of patrons are able to connect at one time - which can be fairly frustrating if there are a lot of people staying there. But definitely you get bang for buck here. Excellent place for the price.

Unity Park Motel is cheap and the location is great. I have stayed here for 3 nights. There are much a lot activities to do in Santo. The host Marie is nice but sometimes she was not very helpful and no reception there.

It is just 5-10 minutes from airport so that you could easily catch the flight and opposite to unity park, almost the centre of Luganville. You could go to the market or but stuff eaily.

The room is very clean and bright. Single room for each guest, lots of space. The staff there or in Vanuatu are very nice, always smile.

Room tip: The location is great, the staff are nice.

Spotted Unity Park Motel on the internet and because we were on a budget it seemed to fit the bill. There is a lack of this type of budget accommodation in Vanuatu and I don't think it was mentioned in the Lonely Planet Guide. It turned out to be a great place to start our Vanuatu Holiday and meet other travellers and we spent 3 days here -a good base to explore around Luganville-before we headed up the coast to stay at Turtle Bay Resort.
Unity Park Motel was clean, had friendly staff, a great kitchen and if you want a basic room you wont find better value for money. Just 5000 Vatu in total (about $65 NZ dollars for four of us- 2 adults and 2 teenagers in a basic room with 2 bunks, an overhead fan and mosquito nets on the windows. Great garden and BBQ area and kitchen and a good location- . If you want a pool you can always go down the road to Hotel Santos and if you buy a drink there or eat there you can use their pool. Unity Park Motel is only 200m from the market where you can buy excellent cheap meals at any time for about $5 each person. Our kids 13 and 15 loved to nip back to the market to stock up on fruit and kumara chips. Highly recommended.
