After arriving on site and touring the grounds we cancelled our reservation and left. The place is in total state of disrepair and neglect.

Pools are empty, most equipment is broken and many buildings are overgrown with vegetation, restaurants are closed and staff is limited and poorly managed.

There is no beach and the resort is adjacent to fish pens. The resort is invested with mosquitoes and other insects.

There is no reason to stay at this place whatever your economic status. Save the time and money and go to one of the resorts in Anilao.

Really enjoyed roaming around this resort.. They have so many swimming pools! Best was the massage pool. Been here thrice already and enjoyed every stay! Food was ok. Staff were good, service ok.. May consider coming back again..

Do not believe these photos. They're totally different.

Before to read it, my apologize for too much complaining but for own good.

To all people, do not visit this resort because they have no responsibility cleaning and taking care of the resort. It's so dirty and many holes and cracks everywhere. There were 4-5 cockroaches in the bathrooms. :( I had a hard time taking a bath because I couldn't stop feeling scared of cockroaches. I have phobia of cockroaches.
There were so much broken tiles everywhere. I really don't know what's happening this resort. :( I wish the company should know this review and also other reviews. Pls improve your resort.
Of course we wanted to stay a beautiful resort like in photos. :(

Due to disappointment at Bella Beach Resort, we found ourselves in Golden Sunset Resort, where the nearest and I'm pretty sure a nice place coz' been there twice for our Company Teambuilding and vacation.
The beauty of this place faded! Most of the amenities were closed but the rate still pricey, we don't even have toiletries in our room. We're all alone in the resort but the good thing, some staff prepare us good food and given us good service before their shift ends.
Perhaps it's because of Lean Season but I really wish they bring back the past and continuously improved the place. It used to be a great place to lean back & relax.

We have avail of discounted room packages last travel expo in smx. Since, ricky reyes own it and maganda ang mga pictures, we have decided na i try for my son bday get away. We get the garden cove, nakasya raw ang six person at may pool na in front ng room. When we get there, it was so layo from the city, the lobby was so old and not well maintained. Then, the room, typical room, no toiletries, super daming mosquito, no cable tv, may local station nga pero very poor signal. Then the pool, very dangerous ang daming nakakasugat na tiles. And even we experience multiple brown outs, no generator to back up. The resto, no good. Better not to go to this resort or else im pretty sure ma di dissapoint din kayo.

Date of Visit : April 4 - 5 2015.

The place was not well maintained. Their Deluxe Room was nothing compared to other hotels i stayed with. There were cracks all over the floorings and even the walls. The door has gaps and comfort rooms were too small. House keeping was very poor. We asked for 6 towels but they gave us five and 1 complimentary shampoo and soap. Whew.. we paid for 5700 a night for this. Not only that, we experienced 5x power interruptions during the night. And so i have to wake up and open the air con, (take note their aircons are manuals).

Overall, this place is not worth to visit especially if you're from manila and you want to relax. The expenses and the time you'll spend for this resort is totally a waste.

Thank you.

Nice view (trees, plants & flowers), nice pool, but no beach, but you get the view of the sea, this is expected in this part of Batangas though, but we tried, since we wanted actually to go to Stilts but then it was full. So we were there already, (again spur of the moment escapade with hubby and kid).... so i remember golden sunset is also nice (with food), this is Ricky Reyes' resort, so we went and then it was just okay, there's playground, there's mini zoo of turkeys and peacocks, 2 nice pool, other facilities under renovation, but it was nice, rooms need some upgrades -- no refrigerator, no cabinets...

Room Tip: Choose room near the beach area (this one is under renovation though), the view is really nice....
