Naveshand aju were our pilots for paragliding... they were the best... made us super comfortable... they had tie ups with zostel were we stayed and zostel only booked them for us... they made us super comfortable and helped us to have the best 1st experience for paragliding... we paid 2500 each for paragliding... 2000 for the ride and 500 for the gopro... best place for a small relaxing trip... must try...

If you leave Bir without experiencing para gliding (even if it is a tandem jump) then it is almost criminal. The entire process of driving to the take off point (14 km from Bir) and the 25 - 30 min glide/flight to the landing point is an experience that is to be cherished. please be careful to employ only qualified instructors/pilots as a number of accidents have taken place with inexperienced pilots. The cost is 2500.00 per person. The expression is amazing and the view of the surrounding peaks and valleys mind blowing to say the least. An absolute addition to one's bucket lost!!!!!

The paragliding take off is 14 kms from Bir landing site which is full of sharp and curvaceous turns. Depending on which month you are visiting, you may see different colors of nature. Once you are finalized the paragliding (Rs. 2500 per person per take off) they will take you up from Bir to Billing and from there you will take off. Its approx. 25 minutes gliding with a pilot. Its closed for 2 months in Monsoon (tentative July & Aug) , else open 10 months in the year. From Bir to Billing its 45 minutes drive, getting ready is another 10 minutes and gliding time is 30 minutes.
