'What a little gem. Ian and Linda were very welcoming and excellent company. They are clearly passionate about producing and making much of their food and produce. We stayed for two nights as we were guests at a local wedding. Our first night we ate with our 3 fellow guests and our hosts lovely food and good company washed down with a few pints of Ian's home made brew.'

Room Tip: We had one of the front rooms we looked out onto the (no longer used) main road.

Just about to barrel our next beer - an American style pale ale. Let's hope it's okay!

This was a return trip to the Old Cider House and did not disappoint. The garden (especially the herb, fruit and veg patches) is wonderful, the accommodation is comfortable and spotless. Great hosts, great area to visit.

Thank you for a second review - praise indeed! The garden this time of year is lovely and we are making jam every day to keep up with demand and a glut of soft red fruit. See you again soon.

Ian, Lynne and Ozy were wonderfully welcoming to this solo walker on the eve of setting off on the Coleridge Way. Can't recommend highly enough. Dinner, breakfast, Ian's ale and gin, et al set me off on my ramble with a smile on my face. Their abode was comfortable and well appointed.

Lynne and Ian have created a cosy retreat where you will feel welcome and relaxed. We've stayed twice now and I have no hesitation in recommending this great B&B to travellers. Beds are comfortable and rooms quiet. Breakfast is made freshly for you. Wonderful hosts who really care that you enjoy your stay.

We decided to stopover on our way to visit a friend in Devon and could not have found a nicer bed and breakfast if we tried. Lynne and Ian were charming hosts. We had only stayed one night and wished it could have been longer. Our room was extremely comfortable. The dinner and breakfast we were provided with were absolutely delicious and where possible the food was grown in their own garden or sourced locally. We would thoroughly recommend you stay here if you are in the Quantocks, especially if you like walking and especially if you are looking for accommodation for yourself and your dog. The owners (and their dog Ozy) give you a very warm welcome. Go on, stay, you won't regret it.

Winter is such a lovely time to visit the Quantocks. Can't beat a pint in front of a roaring log fire in a village pub.
