“Office Christmas Party”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 December 2011

The room was quite a bit disappointing compared to the room I stayed in last year. It needed redecorating and making a bit more personal. The TV didn't work and a number of lights needed new bulbs. As a stop over for a party it was very functional but had a been staying longer i would have been very disappointed. The party was good, venue excellent, disco loud, and food when it came what you would expect for a mass produced meal for about 100 people to be fed all at once. Staff were very helpful but it was apparent that they were run off their feet and did an outstanding job with the task in hand.

Not sure if I would I would stay again, good for the party though.

I was lucky enough to be invited to a wedding here, and lets just say if I ever get married, I would find it very hard to pick somewhere as lovely as this, but more importantly with staff as helpful as the staff here were.
Often you go to a hotel to be greeted by grumpy, spotty pubescent kids serving you with a scowl. I was very happy to be treated VERY well by every member of staff I came across, and as I was an Usher, I came across a lot of different members of the team.
The rooms were very nice, and although they were having some improvement works done, they had done this with sympathy to other guests, and we hardly noticed it.

The grounds are stunning, and the buildings lovely and clean and well maintained.

I would 100% stay here again, and can only thank Tracy Park for making my 2 friends day so special, and doing so much to make sure that everyone was happy.

I stayed here whilst on a business trip to Bristol. My parter accompanied me, as she often does if I'm going somewhere nice. We stayed for two nights in a Luxury room which was in what was probably a stable building at some point in the past. The room was fabulous, decorated to a very high standard and with a lavish four-poster bed to die for!

Having completed by business meetings, we decided to stay on for the weekend and explore Bath and take in a visit to Tyntesfield. Unfortunately, all the Luxury rooms were fully booked for the weekend, so we swapped to a Superior room, which was also superb, though it didn't have a four-poster. It was quirky in that the bathroom was located down and then up a short flight stairs from the room (but still entirely self-contained) - this merely added to the character.

A high quality breakfast was served in a most unusual dining room in the main house - the largely stone room was dripping in Masonic symbology and made for an interesting dining experience.

The staff were helpful and very friendly. Would definitely go back to Tracy Park if I was staying in the Bristol/Bath area again.

Went there last week for a function. Firstly, I am sure the place is pretty but we were shown in via the main car park. This entry was basically the old stables, nothing like the beautiful grand front entrance to the house as was expected. But the worst bit was driving past the place. Tracy Park is actually only signed posted as The Park, and it's not on the main road but on a small turning off the main road. It would help visitors if they either changed the signs to match the hotel or the website to match the actual directions. It was quite unsettling for our group as this was an important event and over half the people missed the turning and ended up in varying degrees of late. After that the food was fine but the service was a little short handed.

I attended this hotel for a business presentation, dinner and an overnight stay. The facilities at the hotel were excellent. The staff were courteous and very attentive, the food was very good and served hot. The room was well prepared and spacious, well appointed and very clean. The only negative point was that the heating could have been switched on prior to my arrival as it was really cold and took a good hour to warm up. All in all a very comfortable stay.

Room Tip: If you are looking for space, room 20 is very spacious.

Eight of us had a very pleasant 3 night/4 day golf break on half board
The bedrooms were spacious and nicely furnished and ours was located in a converted stable block -by and large very comforable and nicely appointed. The only problem was when it rained you walked outside to get to the hotel reception and bar and got wet!
The food was excellent and a la carte style in a very nice restarant; breakfasts were also v good. Drinks were not overly expensive and there was a good choice of wines.
The golf club was an upmarket portacabin but the food was very acceptable and the bar area surprisingly homely.
The golf courses were excellent - one very hilly with great views and interesting holes - the other was longer and very much a parkland course - both a good challenge and enjoyable to play.
Staff everywhere were friendly and helpful. No real downsides at all.
A very successful boys away golfing trip

Room Tip: very suitable for a short golfing break with good food and reasonable bar prices.

I am writing this as a warning to anybody who may be thinking of having a wedding reception at Tracy Park. I have seldom had such dreadful food and it is especially shameful that this establishment charged a great deal of money for this. The starter consisted of some kind of grey mush with specks of brown in it. It turned out to be mushroom risotto which had obviously been boiled to a pulp and then stored in a platic container, which gave it a nasty plastic after-taste. The second course was chicken (that was okay) accompanied by roast potatoes which were grey inside and some were underdone swimming in a thin brownish gravy. The dessert was supposed to be an apple tart with creme patisserie and cream. The pastry was so hard you had a job to cut it and there was no sign of the creme patisserie. The glasses on the tables had not been polished properly and the two leather chairs for the bride and groom had a thick layer of dust on them!!! The food tasted as if it had come out of a supermarket deep freeze. The service personnel were to be pitied as they were very short-staffed.
