We stayed at Hotel Madhu in October 1st week for 2 nights and I am sure that the next time I go back I am not going to give a 2nd thought about our accommodation. The hotel is around 1 kilometer from the market area and is set in a beautiful location providing breathtaking views of the snow capped mountains and having an apple orchard at the backside. We stayed in one of the rooms on the terrace from where the Bapsa river valley was partially visible and the gurgling sound of the river could be heard all through day and night. As the hotel is away from the crowd and there were not much lighting around, we could see numerous stars as well as the milky way clearly at night. The room was clean and had basic furniture and a TV which I was not actually expecting from a budget hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating and they truly justified the phrase "Service with a smile". One of the staff suggested us the places to visit and it's because of him we could visit the beautiful Bairing Nag temple and the river valley that were at a walking distance of 15 minutes. They even allowed us to visit their apple garden that was full with ripe apples and take some pictures. All in all, this is a great hotel for budget travelers and I will surely recommend this place to others. They have car parking and accommodation available for drivers too.You can book the hotel by calling them or dropping them an e-mail. Contact details can be found in their website.

Room tip: Rooms on the terrace are the best one as they provide 360 degree view of the surrounding.

Recently we have stayed there for two nights with family. The hotel is simply awesome, located in a very scenic location. The room was clean, crew members (Specifically Mr. Raju who took very good care all the time) are well behaved. The Owner, Mr. Aswan is a good person to meet. Loved the food quality also. Its a great place to stay in Sangla (affordable rate). Highly recommended.

We reached Sangla at about 4 pm and got two rooms at the hotel. The proprietor is a friendly man and he took all efforts to make our stay comfortable. We stayed two nights as we were two couples with children and wanted to enjoy the nature which abounds all around. The food is hot and tasty but has to be ordered about 2 hours in advance.
The rooms are basic with cable tv. Try to book rooms with the valley views.
Their are a lot of food options near the market which is about 1 km away.
