Stayed here for 5 nights as part of our honeymoon trip back in January. We had a Pool Pavilion room which really had the wow factor. Not long after arriving at our room there was a knock at our door and in came a selection of fruit, two small cakes and a bottle of fizzy wine for our honeymoon, lovely! The room is large with a separate dressing area with safe. You receive complimentary robes, slippers, flip flops and beach bag! The TV had a good selection of channels including two movie channels. The bathroom area had two sinks (although those fancy taps are annoying to use!) and a huge walk in shower. The bath was just outside on the patio. The huge floor to ceiling doors slid open onto our own little plunge pool. It was cold and it doesn't get the sun on it as its covered but its nice for an occasional refreshing dip! Each evening at around 5pm the maid would do turn down and light candles and incense to ward off insects, we never saw or got bitten by any mosquitoes. I did see a mouse one night run across the patio.
Breakfast was amazing! I can't see how people can complain. It had a huge selection of food to choose from and to suit all cultures. Breakfast was amazing! I can't see how people can complain. It had a huge selection of food to choose from and to suit all cultures. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurants or use the bars as the beach area has a nice selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars at reasonable prices. Only £3-4 for a nice main meal on an evening! We loved the adult pool with the swim up bar, it was so relaxing and always plenty of sun beds. The pool was quite cool and not heated but nice enough. We used the beach club only a couple of times as the beds are all next to each other and the staff seemed a bit rude (and openly accepting tips from customers to reserve beds the next day for them). You also get people selling you things on the beach quite often. However, the beach area itself was lovely. If you walk along to the left its quiet and peaceful and you can see buildings left abandoned from the tsunami.
Highly recommend booking any trips with Phuket Sail Tours, you have to book before you go but they are highly recommended and safe.
Overall Indigo Pearl was the highlight of our honeymoon and we highly recommend it!More
