Back again this year and it was all as warm and welcoming as I'd remembered. The food is excellent, Greg & Caroline are the perfect hosts and make the stay one to remember. They also took our booking quite late and were very accommodation, we were very lucky. And you always meet such nice people there. Very social place!

The Coachman is an amazing, warm and family friendly place to stay. The food is delicious, the breakfast to die for. There are cool games to play for the kids (ping pong, pool and plenty of board games and books). The hosts Greg and Caro make you feel so welcome and are very friendly. WE wouldn't stay anywhere else, it truly is a home away from home.

I really hope you will stay here because the Coachman is truly amazing!

We keep coming back to The Coachman, ideally positioned in Smiggin Holes with easy access to the whole Perisher resort. Greg & Carolyn are the perfect hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The food is sensational! A vast selection for breakfast, then first class 3-course dinners & special menu for kids. We recommend you ask about the availability of a parking space as this makes our stay even more convenient. The conditions are excellent now, so get down there for some snow-fun!

Location, location, location it is awesome. We spent an enjoyable family week away with our 3 adult children. Enjoyed great meals, fireplace looking over the snow fields, pool table, bar area, Greg's guitaring was a great atmosphere before dinner. Very friendly lodge with all the facilities for your ski's, snowboards, boots etc. Beds very comfortable. Caroline and Greg are excellent hosts. You can ski over to Perisher or take the free shuttle from the driveway. Great family getaway.

The Coachman is one of those magic places to stay, snuggled away in the snow cover hills of Smiggins.

The lodge is a cosy hideaway managed by Carolyn and Greg, two of the nicest people you could meet who welcome you to The Coachman as though it is your home away home.

Greg and Carolyn are to be commended on their best asset, their staff. The staff were fantastic and applauded for their attitude and service. Thank you.

We spent 7 nights at The Coachman in August /September and had a great time and enjoyed the culinary delights each day.

The Coachman is in walking distance to catch the bus to Perisher if you don’t want to ski / snowboard at Smiggins.

The lodge is a very warm place with its central fireplace in the living area where you can talk about your day’s adventures each night while enjoying one of the bars delights. Overall you can’t do any better than this hidden gem.

Carolyn and Greg, we will return and maybe go better at poole or trivia in 2017.

Thank you to you both and your great staff for a great and memorable time!

We had a really enjoyable weekend hear in Mid August. As with all lodges in the area the rooms are basic but very comfortable and warm.

The real highlight is the quality of food, service and company at the Coachman... Sitting back in front of the fire, drinking a few beers, eating complimentary snacks and listening to live music on the Saturday... What more could you want after a great day on the slopes..

We will be back

Room Tip: It is a small lodge with a mazimum of 30 or so beds, so there is really no good or bad rooms
