Was here four years ago and here again, chilled place, no nonsense, friendly and in keeping with lajares’ surf vibe.

My wife and I stopped in Lajares for a look around the local market and to see what it was like in this nice little town. We had found Corralejo to cater too much to tourists and found it difficult to explore Canarian culture. Lajares was the opposite. It was very much Canarian and we loved experiencing it all.

We stopped at Mana Cafe for our lunch and a break, before setting off to explore more of the island.

We started with two coffees. The very pleasant waitress brought us two cups, with a shot in each, and separate jugs of hot water and milk. This was very nice. Good coffee!
Outdoor seating on hot breezy day was nice too.
My wife chose her main, chicken breast with canarian potatoes. she said it was very nice (If you're English then the canarian potatoes are boiled potatoes). The sauces are great. They came in two shot glasses and made all the difference to the meal, really livening up the chicken and potatoes.
My ham and cheese crepe was spot on. It came with a small salad garnish and some sort of lemon curd style drizzle, which was really nice.

We both were very impressed with this lovely cafe.

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat, on the way back to Cotillo, a goats cheese and honey crepe and chicken ceasar salad just hit the spot.

What a find! Delicious fresh food, relaxed atmosphere and great prices! Salty or sweet crepes, bruschetta with fresh basil or the best Caesar salad around-everything was perfect! A must visit!

We stopped here for a spontaneous lunch because we really liked the exterior when we drove by. A nice patio paired with the word "creperia" and we were sold! We ordered a lemon and sugar crepe and a salmon cream cheese crepe. Both were delicious, very filling and reasonably priced. Very nice spot for a relaxed stop.
