“Wonderful Guest House!”
Reviewed September 23, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

My sister and I rented the guest house at the beginning of September 2013. What a wonderful place to stay. Mark provided a wealth of information on the area prior to our visit. If there is a bump in the road on the way, Mark has probably documented that detail in the information package he sends you. The information is comprehensive and extremely helpful for planning your trip.

The guest house was very clean and well equipped. We really appreciated the wonderful bottle of wine that was there to greet us upon our arrival. The wireless internet connection was weak and you need to go upstairs to the bedroom to get a good connection; however, we were on vacation so that should not be a concern unless you have to keep in touch via the internet. The kitchen was well stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the closet space upstairs was a nice size with a mirror and chair inside. The guest house has absolutely everything that you need!

There are a couple of excellent restaurants (La Gloire de mon Pere and Chez Hugo) that we thoroughly enjoyed in Seillans! Parking was never an issue and we were always able to find a spot by the hotel. Be prepared for the steep streets and pack light.

The location is perfect for exploring the French Riviera and the Italian border is easily reachable as well. Seillans is gorgeous, rustic and quiet. It was such a nice little retreat to go to each evening after exploring some of the busier centres around the area - like Nice, Monte Carlo, St Tropez. We especially loved the day trips we did to some of the smaller places like Saint-Paul-de-Vence and Villefranche-sur-Mer.

We really enjoyed the guest house and would highly recommend it. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

“A wonderful, warm, artistic house in a magical friendly village.”
Reviewed September 1, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You do need to be a good walker and unafraid of a traditional spiral staircase or two. The house is beautifully restored and stocked with books and charming artefacts. Enjoy the roof terrace. You will have the opportunity to feel a part of village life as you wake to the sound of church bells and stroll out, down steep little streets for morning bread. A wonderful place to finish that draft of your novel...

“Wonderful vacation home with everything you need!”
Reviewed July 15, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

To reiterate what the other reviewers have said, Mark and Kim were extremely helpful from the first inquiry email trough the stay. We knew exactly where we were going and what to expect. They send emails full of informaion thatyou need before hand, and then once you get there there are books, maps, binders...even the liitle things are explained, like how to use the washing machine and dryer. They know what they are doing!

As far as the property, it is spacious and comfrtable, the room top balcony is quite a treat at the end of a day! The house has everything you might need from a fully stocked kitchen to a washer and dryer to bags for the market and supplies for the beach.

The location is great! The house i's an easy, short walk from any of the many town parking lots and within walking distance to the market and restaurants. The town is in a great place to explore both the French Alps as well as Provence and The Côte Azur. St. Tropez, Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Marseilles and the Italian border are all easily reachable within 30 mins- 2 hr drive.

What more can I say? I highly recommend it!
