I have been here numerous times when visiting the area. Each time my friends and I eat from the Menu Du Jour which is very good value. Yesterday we had swordfish to start which was perfectly cooked and seasoned, really delicious. The main course of beef was again perfectly cooked. One slight criticism here was that we all had bits of gristle served but it did not spoil our enjoyment, although some might be put off by that. The dessert was rhubarb in jelly which again was delicious.
We had a very nice bottle of pale rose to accompany - perfect at lunch time.
The setting is beautiful, with tables on a terrace overlooking the valley and hills, really delightful! It is all shaded so even on a blistering hot day it was very pleasant indeed.
Overall would highly recommend for a very civilised relaxing lunch with well executed food and a stunning setting.
