“Wonderful home base to discover the Cotswolds”

Very old Minchinhampton is a wonderful place to stay. it’s a small village, but it’s got everything you need. it’s situated right on the Commons, where cattle can walk free, a new experience to us. In every direction, you can go down to beautiful valleys.
The house is great, it lies very close to the centre, but a bit off the road on a terrace, so it’s very quiet. For us, a couple and a family with two kids (in all 6 persons), this was the ideal place. The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen were up-to-date! A place to come back to!

“Little gem!!”
Reviewed July 4, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful cottage. From start to finish the booking was so easy and the owner Louise was extremely helpful.
The cottage is well equipped and beautifully decorated. It was lovely and clean with fresh linens. We even met the neighbour Rachel, who was very friendly and suggested local eating places.
Unfortunately the village pub was closed but we walked up to the common to 'The Old Lodge which was only a 15 minute brisk walk....maybe 25 mins home!,
The cottage is well located for visiting other parts of the Cotswolds. I am sure we will be returning as we had such a lovely break. Thank you Louise:)

“A cosy cottage BUT”

A nicely presented, well equipped cottage but it depends how many are in your party.
The downside is the third bedroom which you have to go through to get to the bathroom which is not fully divided from the sleeping area.

“Quintessentially Cotswolds!”
Reviewed May 20, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Thank you, Louise, for a lovely place to stay in delightful Minchinhampton. The cottage was well equipped, the location was perfect (eg, early morning walks on Minchinhampton Common), the town was quaint and quiet, and all places we wanted to visit were accessible. Travelling from Australia, we have spent 1 week out of our 4 weeks holiday here and it has more than met expectations. Thank you.

“A lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful cottage”
Reviewed May 13, 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We rented this cottage for somewhere to stay for our son's wedding in Minchinhampton last month and we were not disappointed. The situation was ideal especially as we were in walking distance to both the church and reception venue and whilst there, I enjoyed some walks on nearby Minchinhampton Common. The well-equipped kitchen ensured that meal preparation was simple and we ate out also in the two excellent cafés in the village, as well as local pubs. This is an ideal cottage for those seeking a base to explore the beautiful local countryside as well as the lovely market towns in the area. Highly recommended.

“Absolutely Fantastic!”
Reviewed January 27, 2014 for a stay in December 2013

We stayed at this beautiful property over Christmas and into mid January and really enjoyed it. It was "magical" to use my 6 yr old sons words!! As a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) we had ample space and were very comfortable. The manager Lousie was very accommodating and this is a place we would definitely return to!
