Even though very close to the main road it is quite. The rooms are very clean and nice. The best though is the staff, due to their friendly and always helpful attitude. And not to forget, the breakfast. Finally after weeks European style again :-).

I stayed here with my family and found this place is good for family.Rooms are big and a good balcony. The stairs are deep and care ur kids and old ones. The breakfast they offered was simple.I have met the owner directly and suggested to remove stones from inner court yard in the room in the view that it will fill dust in the room.
This resort is centrally located in the kalpetta town, hence good for family with average budget. The resort has a great scope for improving their Service.

Very Bad... It is not a Resort.. it is just equal to a Lodge...Had been last week in Dec.The Food was not edible.. The rice was half cooked. The facilities mentioned in the website are not there and even if some facilities like playing TT and other games are there, we were not allowed to avail them. Car parking is very small though they promise in the website that it is a huge parking space. Hardly 10 Cars can be parked there.

The Reception staff : We give them some feedback, they are not at all bothered to address the customer as well as take it. they are not at all friendly to the customer. hopeless behaviour from the Staff itself.

They are least bothered of the Bad review in they recieve through these wesites. The Manager is telling that if we want good food we have to get in and cook. In that case wat is so special goin to the resort.

Very Hopeless Resort to stay here,,, Never ever attempt to step into this resort..

The guest while check out really wanted a huge discount, which we could not do that, by the time they threatened that they will write a very bad review in the net, we politely just told " we are helpless sir". Kindly ignore this review.

I stayed at Wyndvalley garden resorts last weekend (Dec 7- 9 2012) at their dormitory (named
'Colleagues Inn') along with 10 other family members, and came away very impressed.

The resort is located at Kalpetta, bang on the Mysore-Kozhikode highway and close to the town center - so it provides very easy access to shops, restaurants, etc. The actual resort building is set well inside the campus such that we do not get to bear the noise of the highway! Besides, Kalpetta is a very conveniently located town to access all nearby attractions like Pookote lake, Banasura Sagar dam, Lakkidi hills, etc.

We did not use their restaurant so I cannot comment on the food. Beverages like coffee & tea were quite average. Service from the resort folks was courteous and prompt - they were young, smiling men who knew enough of Hindi & English to make life easy for us.

We were traveling as a group and though they had competitively priced bedrooms available, we preferred to stay together as a group. They showed us their dormitory which was HUGE - a 22 bedder, with 3 restrooms and 2 bathrooms. (One of the flushes was not working so that was a minor letdown). The dorm room has a double-height ceiling and that makes it very well ventilated. We instantly took up the dorm room.

The real icing on the cake was the price - their dormitory costed us Rs 300/- (yes, no typos!) per person per night!! So, for Rs 3,300 a night, eleven of us could stay in a 22 bedder with very decent amenities...talk about value-for-money!

The staff provided us a bonfire on both the evenings and we had a good time cozying up around the bonfire. The best part - they did not charge anything extra for this.
So, price-wise, I will give a big thumbs-up.

A special note of thanks to Dinesh, the resort in-charge who seems to be very competent and takes good care of his guests.

Note: If you are looking for a premium, secluded honeymoon-type resort, this may not be the best option (though it is not bad really). But as a stay option at Wayanad, close to the hills, I will recommend this highly.

Room tip: Individual rooms facing the garden are a good option. They have a nice sit-out with chairs and table to spend your time

I had been in this place last week. No doubt it is clean and well maintained, so are the staff, very friendly. But the biggest problem is with the heat inside the room due to the summer, we couldn't even open the windows as they had no mesh, so we had non-invited bugs n insects inside our room. Well the other fact is that the breakfast was quite average and limited for B&B option...

Room tip: Choose the rooms newly built at the block next to the reception, but not the ones above the reception area
