I felt this hotel was overpriced for what it is. It's certainly not a four star hotel, as advertised. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower didn't work properly as the water kept running through the tap as well as the shower head so there wasn't much water pressure in the shower head. In addition to this, the shower door didn't close properly so the bathroom floor was soaked every time we showered.
I didn't like the fact that all rooms faced onto an atrium which meant that the noise from all floors could be heard from our room.
We were charged 10 Euros a night for the car park, which seems a little on the steep side.
The breakfast was rather wanting given a lot of the buffet was not replenished quickly. The hotel was full due to an event, but this is no excuse. Dinner was lovely, although they did bring us our desserts before our main course one evening!
The location is central and handy for the main shopping area.
Overall, the hotel is quite old looking and could do with some updating in order to be considered a four star hotel and merit the prices it charges.

Simple, clean hotel. Nothing exceptional. But nice and quiet. Good value for what you pay. Service is very friendly.
The location help a lot to discover the center of Linares. Walking distance to every where.

Room tip: Is in the center and till late is a little bit noise.

This centrally located hotel offers adequate basic services. Beds are good, bathrooms large and the airco works. The front desk, even if understaffed, is friendly and eager to help. For a one night stop over or business trip, it is fine. A three star hostel at a good price.

However, I can not recommend to stay here for longer.
Something is wrong and it has to do with the design. Even if recently built, the decoration is sombre, dated and sinister. With heavy iron grids and marble columns and tiles, the design is dominated by dusty plastic flowers and dark paneling. The atmosphere is that of a funeral parlor.

Nowhere is this depressing feeling as evident as in the breakfast room, which does have the dull grey lighting of a morgue. The little food on display looks grey as well.

The hotel restaurant should be avoided. Apart from being not all that clean, it has just one waiter and it serves food at an exaggerated price. You can find much better and less expensive food nearby in many authentic and less dreary places.

One small warning. The hotel advertises itself as having a swimming pool. This is misleading. It does have a water feature on the roof. It is the size of a large family car and could take six adults provided they had agreed to stay upright and to not move their arms and feet.

There is occasionally some charm in faded glory, but not in ugliness.

The hotel is located right in the centre of Linares and has a convenient parking lot. Shopping area is within walking distance and there also a few restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood.
Room was spacious and clean, nothing to complain about. The surprise came at breakfast time. Breakfast is served at a separate room in the basement and is buffet style. As I had to leave early I was the first one at the breakfast room and was quite surprised that immediately afterwards a group of Spanish National Policemen turned up. First I thought of some kind of control and was looking for my ID card or maybe something happened at the hotel, but actually they just came for breakfast, occupying the table next to the buffet. Maybe they were on their night shift and just about to go home, which would explain that some of them hadn’t had a shower.
Anyway, I finished my breakfast faster than usual and got on my way.

This was our second visit to the hotel and the cleanliness and condition of the rooms was excellent. However there were problems over the breakfast, the card in the room saying it was available at weekends at 8 a.m.. However on arriving at 8.30 we were told it was at 9 a.m. At weekends. This was not communicated to us on checking in. The second day it was as though a bomb had hit the dining room as they had opened earlier for a coach party! Food was delivered bit by bit to the buffet which made it difficult to select a balanced meal. Also when we checked out the receptionist tried to charge us for breakfast, although we had booked an inclusive rate through Hotels.com, stating it was a mistake on their web!! Take care!!!
