Oscar's basic but clean and generously sized self catering apartment is directly on Horta village square, right where the bus stops, and above a very friendly bar and restaurant also called 'la fabrica', though run by a different set of people, friends of Oscar's - Foncalda the woman was particularly helpful in getting hold of Oscar when we arrived, and throughout our stay. Nobody speaks much English in Horta, so a Spanish or Catalan phrase book would come in useful, though we seem to have managed well enough with our hands and feet! There are plenty of food shops dotted around for provisions, and lots of interesting walks and cycle rides to occupy you for at least a week. The village was Picasso's favourite, and the story of his lifelong friendship with a local artist from there is very touchingly and effectively told in the Picasso Centre in town. Two sets of keys would substantially improve my rating!
