so I tend to be rather fussy than most. HUGE rooms. Huge bathrooms. 2 connecting rooms that actually fit 2 teens in a diffrent room. food is ok very remote.amazing service! sleep number beds. they also have marina suites that can be connected in advance. would make a 3 or 4 bedroom condo layout. I came from the westin so I was expecting westin service. They have a lot of activitiys to make up for the fact that they are remote. offers a water taxi from the airport. kyacks are free and also the beach is calm. they were the le meridian before except totally redone. breakfast is included and so is the internet.(works well too). both of my kids had massages and the cost was somewhat reasonable. definlty go back to this one.

We stayed at the hotel with our 2 children, we liked the fact that the hotel is small enough so the children could go back to the room by themselves when they kept forgetting toys...the beach is great, the restaurants are good (the regular menu at le C is awesome, the special nights, not so much though still ok) There are a lot of choices for breakfast at le Marché from real french pastries to american style bacon and eggs. The restaurants are all outdoors, so there are flies but when you decide to eat outdoors , you should expect some minor inconveniences) The room was really good, we had a 2 queen double room on the ground floor. I keep reading about insects in the rooms but all I found were 3 minute ants over a 7 nights stay It is after all a tropical island so there are bound to be some insects. All non motorized activities are included at the beach club. The kids club was ok. As for getting around, do rent a car, Hertz has a counter at the hotel and the rates were ok. Food at nearby Grand Case is diverse and really good.

We stayed 5 nights here in March 2012 and enjoyed this beautiful setting. Our family of 4 (2 teens ages 15 and 16) loved relaxing at this wonderfully uncrowded resort. The room was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for a roll away. The pool and beach were spectacular- there were always plenty of chairs any time of day. We spent a day on the Scoobi Too which sails out of the attached Marina, and had a blast visiting and snorkeling on the beaches of Anguilla. My husband and 16 yr old rented a jet ski and had lots of fun. Just remember to bring cash to the Jet Ski shack...they don't take credit and won't charge to your room. The included breakfast had everything we could think of. Every day we enjoyed a big breakfast, light lunch, and then a delicious dinner. We ate dinner one night at the main resort restaurant C, one night in Grand Case, one night at the pizza place across the parking lot from the hotel, and 2 nights at the Italian place just outside the entrance. All of our meals were wonderful. We went to Grand Case on "festival night"...and it was a little crazy trying to find our cab at the end of the night since the streets were all closed off, but dinner at TasteVin was delicious. My husband and son dove once with the dive shop from the Marina at the hotel, and dove the second time with a fantastic group out of Marigot called Aquatic Adventure Diving.
All in all, this was a breathtakingly beautiful place to spend our spring break!

Very relaxing and calm if thats what your looking for. Shops and bars are about a 20-30 minute cab ride away. Great place for R and R. Take the boat trip from the airport to the resort well worth it.

My partner and I just got back from a week stay at this hotel(Mar 18th - 25th'2012), and I can't tell you how much fun we had there. The staff are extremely friendly throughout the hotel. But particularly by the pool, Richard, who's born and raised on the island was extremely positive and good natured and can make a person feel right at home with the resort, a very helpful and polite young man who always is on the lookout in helping the guests. Also a mentionable name is Sophia, the gentle and wise lady who serves your drink at the bar by the pool was also very helpful. A keen eye to helping out the guests and making them feel at home. We will be looking to go back in the future.
There was mention of insect problem by others who had stayed here. But we didn't see any in the deluxe room we had stayed in. With a comfortable king size bed, it made the night even more relaxing to get a good nights' rest to get ready for the next day in the sun. !!!

Would you be mad if you booked and paid your hotel two months in advance, received a confirmation, and showed up on the booked date only to find they did not have a room for you? We were. What did Radison do about "our situation"? They booked us into a neighboring hotel - Le Domaine de Lonvilliers next door for the same money for three out of seven days of our stay. Le Domaine is not a 4 star hotel. The rooms do not even have showers, they have big bath tubs. All we got from Radisson was a sincere apology. Their problem is that half the hotel is shut down and shuttered up.
It could have been great. The beach is fantastic, the grounds lovely. For a perspective on the location you need a taxi to go anywhere - think $30-40 plus tip to go for shopping or the many outlying restaurants. The staff was very friendly all around. The food was very good, but very expensive, and did include a buffet breakfast. $15.00 for two ice creams on the beach. $6.00 for a 9 oz. Amstel Bright. The hotel was very clean, although surprisingly it had a very bad fly problem in the restaurants. There was no live entertainment to speak of except for Wednesday evening when there was a calypso band. The hotel goes quite by 8:30 PM. There is no casino to liven up the evenings. Everyone on the staff spoke English as well as French. The hotel draws a very French speaking clientele. The official currency is Euro's although US Dollars were taken with the roughly 25% hit on the exchange rate.
It's just when you book a hotel for 7 days for a great vacation and you end up next door for half of it - it's just a major disappointment.

Room Tip: Make sure you get what you pay for!

the hotel is crap. It's old and run down and has a serious ant problem (we moved rooms 4 times and there were ants in every room).

food is edible but that's about it.

service is also crap. each time we asked to move rooms, we were told there wasn't an ant problem and room changes took forever.

now, the reason I still like the resort is because the pool, beach and location are AMAZING. my husband and i spent every minute outside at the pool or on the beach. the beach is very clean and the water is very calm/warm. it was spectacular. we would wake up, eat breakfast, sit at the beach and pool, then drive 10-15 mins to Grand Case and have an amazing dinner. sure, the room sucked but we just went in there to sleep. And, to be fair, there was an ant problem but the room was fairly clean outside of that (ie: no hairs, obvious mold, dirt etc).

If they got rid of the ants, I'd go back.

Room Tip: we were on multiple floors in multiple wings. ants everywhere.

Thank you for your review and we are very happy that you enjoyed our pool, beach and location. We closed our Resort from May 15th 2011 through December 15th 2011 to make a lot of upgrades in the rooms, the gardens, the restaurants… we now have a very beautiful Resort with no ants !
We hope you will visiting us soon to experience the renovated Radisson Blu St Martin.
