We stayed at SeaScapes for a night while returning to Perth Airport from further north. Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, it was quite difficult to find without a satnav but well worth the effort. Our room was small but comfortable and perfectly adequate for a short stay. A continental breakfast is served in a common room shared by all guests and includes plentiful breads, jams, cerals and fruits which was sufficient to set us up for the day.
The owner Alan is a charming hospitable man who sounds as though he'd arrived from North East England last week but has in fact lived in Australia for many years. He told us something of the history of the house which was once a holiday home for employees of his company.
It is located at quite a distance from Perth City Centre but if that's not important to you, SeaScapes offers reliable and comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price.More
