If you’re a light sleeper I don’t recommend this motel unless you have earplugs and sleeping mask as the walls are super thin and there are no curtains on the door window so the street lights shine bright into your room.
The rooms are very clean but the beds make a lot of noise if you’re sharing a room beware, it’s not expensive but your getting what you pay for.
Not recommended for light sleepers.

We had a second floor unit but the stairs are convenient to all the upper units. Very nice, the place is older yet they have done some nice updating. The airport is just across the street, so there is some obvious noise, but this is not a major international airport so all is good. Nice grounds, friendly staff all make for a good stay. Good wi-fi, comfy bed, full size fridge ….it's all good. I would stay again and recommend.

Amazing staff, exceptionally clean rooms, laundry facility and a "cottage like feel". Originally, were staying 2 nights, but we felt so comfortable, we had to stay a third! The price was very affordable and the staff were able to accommodate or needs. I would recommend this traditional east coast motel to all my friends and family :). Thanks Fair Isles!!

A pleasant surprise greeted us on our revival at the Fair Isle Motel. The owners were gracious and welcoming. There is a beautiful zen like garden which visitors are urged to enjoy. Our room was the biggest surprise of all. It was clean and spacious and more than met our needs

We have been staying at the Fair Isle Motel for many years; for the Cavendish Beach Music Festival in July and for the Shellfish Festival in September. Have always enjoyed staying there; the separate bedroom is a bonus. Former owners were wonderful. New owners are very nice as well. Only complaint is that the price has gone up from mid to upper 60's to $119 per night (almost double) That part is very disappointing. We may have to find another motel for next year. No complaints other than the price. Good place to stay if you're OK with the price.

Room tip: All good. Price now too high.
