We visited here for our daughter's wedding on 20th February and stayed for 2 nights in the main house. Agamemnon is a lovely, quirky room with a large bathroom and stunning views of the harbour and Beaulieu River.
Hannah, Jose and the staff were fabulous - they helped put everyone at their ease and the day ran seamlessly from start to finish. Excellent food and service, nothing was too much trouble. It was a lovely, relaxed wedding in an amazing location. and i would have no hesitation in recommending it to couples looking for the perfect venue.

Our second visit for a winter wedding. This time we stayed 2nights. Our room Beaulieu upstairs in the Henry Adams wing was newly refurbished New England style and was lovely, very comfortable but we had trouble getting the shower to work. When it did it was wonderful. Love the Nespresso coffe machine. The wedding was beautifully done, staff were attentive but not intrusive and all ran like clockwork. Breakfast is better than your average hotel especially the eggs Royale . The setting is just perfect and so peaceful.

Room tip: Upstairs in annex for modern. Upstairs in main house for quirky history.

This was a beautiful place to stay, we had a boutique room looking over the river. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly and extremely helpful. I couldn't fault the whole experience.

Stayed here on a February Friday night when we fancied a night away. Hotel was easy to find and well signposted. Plenty of private parking. Check in was very welcoming and efficient. We were advised that a fire was burning in the lounge and that plenty of sofas and armchairs awaited us.

We had booked a 'posh classic' room which was a good size with a nice modern bathroom. Plenty of towels plus robes. The bed was extremely comfortable with immaculate linen. Modern TV and USB charging ports in the wall plugs were welcome.

Heavy rain meant we didn't try the riverside walk which would probably be lovely on a dry day. Instead we retired to the empty lounge and had afternoon drinks by the fire. Bliss.

We enjoyed a 3-course evening meal at a nice table for 2 by the window overlooking the river. Food was very good with the creme brûlée a real highlight. Probably the nicest one I've ever had. After dinner coffee was back in the lounge by the fire to end a very nice evening.

The hotel is in a very, very quiet spot so we slept incredibly well that night.

Breakfast was excellent. The full English had everything. The ingredients were all good suggesting some care is taken in sourcing ingredients.

Probably the main point we noted about this hotel was that we found the quality of service to be excellent. Every member of staff we spoke to was friendly, personable and totally professional meaning it could only be a 5-star rating from us.

Pretty sure we'll stay there again one day.

Thank you for your fantastic review. It sounds like you managed to have a relaxing break despite the rather wet weather we have been having. Your comments will be really appreciated by Jose and Edward. Hopefully we will see you back soon.

Visited as a surprise break...what a lovely place! Set in a rural part of the country near Southampton, couldn't ask for a more relaxing spot. The hotel us well furnished and the staff courteous and helpful. By all means you must eat in the restaurant... Fantastic food! I recommend that you get the beef to share, but bring a big appetite as you get most of the cow, it was huge. If you need to walk off dinner then take a walk on one of the many trails or visit the adventure centre about 30 minutes away if on foot. Highly recommend this hotel.

Thank you for your fantastic review. The beauty of our location is that you can eat well and then work it off exploring the surrounding countryside. We look forward to welcoming you back later in the summer.
