Kitt and Klaus brought me to Provence, France last year and to my biggest surprise had our first few days in Chateau Juvenal.
Arriving in the chateau at sunset, Champagne in their receiving room, Ann Marie and Bernard were our gracious hosts as they prepared a wonderful dinner. The mistral winds of September and a full moon completed my first evening. The Chateau is very grand with its olive garden, pumkin patch and immense vineyard setting. Too bad the weather was a bit chilly to enjoy the pool.
I love the gardens and how beautiful and quaint the room was(Iris).
I would love to go back to Juvenal.

My family and our friends family stayed at this fantastic mansion on August 2007 travelling in South France .Chateau Juvenal is close to many hisoric places ( Orange , Avignon , Carpentras ) and many beautiful medieval villages ( Vaison la Romaine , Barroux etc.) You feel that you are a prince .The chateau has very spacious rooms facing the huge garden. You can enjoy your sumptuous breakfast in a '' pass me the salt '' table .You can swim in the swimming pool or in the jakuzzi , play table tennis or just enjoy the serenity of the garden . Last but not least Bernard and Ann - Marie the owners .They make you feel that you are their guest , their friend .It is important to have the dinner in the Chateau served ,personally, by Bernard and Ann- Marie , do not miss it.It was an one of a kind experience.

Frank and Jane enjoyed our stay for 2 nights september 2006,this is a very informal family run chateaux Jane celebrated her 40th birthday and now were thinking of having more celebrations there in the near future.Chateaux Juvenal, if it were not for Anne-marie and Bernard it would be just a big empty house but they turned it into a place for all to feel free, relaxed and very welcomed.

We just finished a week's stay at the Chateau Juvenal, which is near Avignon and all the best vineyards for wine tasting in Provence. It is a beautiful, restored Chateau from the 1870's. The rooms are spectacular with huge second empire windows overlooking the Chateau's garden park. Breakfast is served in the Chateau dining room which is full of priceless antiques from the area. Anne-Marie and Bernard, the owners, are the nicest people and go out of their way to make your feel like pampered guests in their home. On leaving, we were given a bottle of wine from the Chateau's vineyard as a gift (an excellent wine at that). The price for the rooms are a bargain you won't believe. A stay here is highly recommended.
