Not far from the hot springs, this Buddhist temple extends the feeling of well-being. The access is free (sarong can be rented near the main entry, against donation) and the temple is not big (half an hour to be visited)

20 minute motor scooter ride from Lovina. Easy to find. Ample parking. Get there early to avoid the crowds. You need to wear a sarong, or can get one there for a small donation. The entrance is impressive, especially the staircase with a Balinese flavour. The worshipping area to the left is quite serene. You ascend to a pagoda built on a gigantic lotus flower. Great statues. Then more gigantic stairs to Buddhas, some being built in July 2018. On the very top is the Borobodur like complex. 5 star. Highly recommended. Please leave a donation in the complex as it helps with maintenance, and may later assist you in the after life...Those who don’t stand or walk on Bali coral are also guaranteed nirvana.

I am so happy to have taken the time to visit this beautiful sacred space. As soon as you enter the whole property is filled with a serene welcoming.
We were blessed to have arrived very early and to experience the silence within. As a yoga teacher I wanted to be able to have time for my meditation and to walk around with ease. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in seeing places in Bali that remain untouched and genuine.
Sacred harmony is a precious gift.

As we rode back from singharaja beach , this temple was quite recomended by the locals for its peacefulness and tranquility . The ride up thru the narrow roads are quite something specially the climb gradient . The was up the stairs then is again picturesque . The over all monastery is super . If you are in and around , you should definitely visit . Not the usual Balinese temple , but a proper Java Style monastery .
