“Fabulous location and great value.”
Reviewed July 16, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Colcombe Farm is a working farm with everything that goes with it. If you are looking for sanitised luxury then this is not the place for you.
If you are looking for a spotless caravan in the midst of peaceful surroundings, the opportunity to watch the cows make their way to graze following milking, the chance to make friends with lots of dogs, seven chickens, new calfs and shy guinea fowl then this definitely IS the place for you.
Thanks to Sylvia for her friendliness and willingness to chat in spite of being busy. It was a pleasure to meet you.
Dorset and Devon - what is there to say? Another great reason to holiday in the UK!

“Great spot for a farm holiday near East Devon coast”
Reviewed November 4, 2013 for a stay in November 2013

We stayed at Colcombe Farm for a last minute weekend break in Autumn Half Term. The caravan was clean and comfortable, and kept us warm and dry despite some atrocious weather. The beds were comfortable with bedding, pillows etc plentiful, although the single beds were definitely 'caravan-sized'. Sylvie was very friendly and helpful. Our youngest son in particular loved the trampoline, the chickens and the geese.

This is a lovely area to visit. Lyme Regis is on the doorstep, and the firework display on the Cobb was excellent. Charmouth is good for fossil hunting, and we had a great walk over the cliffs from quaint Beer to Branscombe. There would be plenty to do round here for a much longer stay.

“Lovely Caravan Holiday..”
Reviewed October 20, 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Having never stayed in a caravan before we did not know what to expect. This caravan is a really good size and is in a lovely location. The lounge was huge, although there was only 2 of us we would definitely return with 6, the kitchen had everything you could need. The caravan is on a pretty farm with loads of outdoors space. The owners were very helpful and flexible, allowing us to arrive early in the day despite us only staying the one night.

We went to a lovely pub where the staff were really friendly. There are so many places on the doorstep like lyme regis etc we will definately be back to explore the area more! The town also has a bank, shop etc so you can easily go there on the evening have a drink and walk back.

Excellent value for money we will definately come again!

“Fab, budget holiday with lots to do and plenty to see.”

Great hosts, fab location for Escott and Bicton Park. Plenty of outside space for the children. Felt welcome and children were able to help around the farm.
Cons laundrette few miles away in Seaton, cooker slow but acceptable (you get used to it) and you will want to rebook for next year (we have).
