This is such a shame because Ayu Gina is in such a great location, walking distance to Padang Padang and nearby great cafes and food places.. However the state of our room was terrible, was not clean at all, ants everywhere, mouldy duvet covers, I doubt the sheets were even clean. The bathroom was disgusting, hardly any water came out of the tap on the sink. No servicing of the room for the whole week we stayed there in regards to getting new towels or rubbish taken out. This place has such potential and from the exterior looks great but it's not worth the price to stay here, it is gross.

Terrible place, do no book here. 3 of us booked for 2 nights. On arrival they overbooked and put us in the conference room on the floor. The second night our original room was still not available as we ended up in 2 separate rooms. They were dirty, leaked, bad lighting etc. You would be far better in a homestay.
The pool was also filthy and had bugs and scum on the surface and the meals were substandard.
We were charged the full price of the booked.

Worst hotel hands down. The rooms are disgusting, dirty and smell of rot. The shower shares space with the toilet and our room would barely lock, you could have kicked the door down. We asked to pay more to upgrade. They wouldn't allow it, and not for lack of space, they didn't even look into it. And when you need a cab, they won't call you one. Its so terrible we left, still paying for it and are staying somewhere else.

I find it quite amusing that some people have mentioned it being expensive!!!! Quite the opposite. I stayed in a double room with a friend and between us, we paid £7 each a night. Can't really complain.

The rooms are basic. Bathrooms aren't that clean and could be improved massively, but there is a toilet, a sink, a shower, a bed, air conditioning (which was really good), wardrobes and your own patio with drying rack etc. Quite substantial for £7.

In my opinion, if spending a while in the uluwatu area, this kind of base is perfect. 2 clean (and big) pool areas, tables and chairs by both - we had our own music and food and staff never had a problem. The restaurant is great. Cheap food (pancakes for 20,000, about £1.20 and delicious!), fab nasi goreng and loads of options. Restaurant staff sweet and helpful.

We woke up, ate breakfast, and then left the hotel for the day to explore. Location wise this place is great. Near good restaurants (mango tree/bukit) and 10 minutes either way to different beaches and single fin. Ask reception to organise moped or go down to the LDS hotel 50m from hotel.

I don't like staying in dirty minging places, but I really didn't have a problem with this place. In total we spent 9 nights. Could have stayed longer!

while it may be affordable it is not sanitary. There is not parting between toilet and "shower".

occasionally the place runs out of water and they don't try hard enough to get water.

poor air-conditioning
