Best spa experience on our last day in Taipei! We chose their individual spa for one hour which came with complete set of toiletries - shampoo, soap, lotion, comb, razor, shower cap and towels. The hot spring water is really really HOT so be very careful. Spring City Resort also have their free shuttle services to pick up and drop off you on the nearest MRT station (Beitou).

It was very relaxing after a lot of walking in the City.

The service was good. Pictures was given to us when we asked about the room. Singles can use a private room which is hardly found from the hot springs bath around the area. There is also a shuttle bus to and fro from Beitou/Xinbeitou station. Brought to the rooms and was shown how to use the bath. Bath was very clean and tidy. Towels, comb, shaver, shaving cream, body lotion, tissue paper, body soap, shampoo and hair dryer was also provided. Cost is about 600NTD/hr for a private room which I think is very worth for it’s price.

I havent stayed at Spring City Resort, so cant comment on the hotel.
I have visited twice from Taipei to use their outdoor hot springs, and my review is only based on that.

If you like hot springs, like I do, you will love it here. No need to bring much more than your swimsuit, as you get flip flops, towels, a kimono and a cap for your hair. There are several small pools of different temperatures, including a cold pool and a marble stone pool, all of them are really lovely. There are also some loungers, which are great on a sunny day. Both times we visited there were not many other visitors, so it was really relaxing and quiet.

We visited the hot spring resort on one of the last days of our trip to a rainy Taiwan. We loved visiting the thermal valley , although we did not realize that the museum was closed. But there are some nice shops nearby and then we were deciding how to enjoy the hot springs. We stopped at a hotel option , that we thought was a little expensive and then decided on this location. It was a wonderful decision. Not too crowded because it was middle of the week, facilities very clean and the pools themselves luciously warm. Don't hesitate going here we loved it!!!!!!Very family friendly also !!!!

I was there for Hot Spring 7 years ago (2011) and back again last year. We paid NT700 and it come with free ice cream. It's a open space Hot Spring that allow both gender to be in the same location. Swimwear and shower cap are required before entering the premise. The bathroom area is as clean as it was 7 years ago.

There are shuttle bus services to Beitou station at 1 hour interval but pre-booking is required from the counter.
