The rock formations and ocean views are just the beginning. Take a stunning jungle hike up the hills for a gorgeous ocean view. Then hit the market for a tasty lunch. The day we went was raining but it was still fun and a reasonable price.

This whole area is a fantastic area. The rocks and the waves make for a beautiful scenery. But the actual queens head wasn't that impressive. It wasn't as big as I thought it was going to be. If you have seen a picture, you have seen enough of it. The area around it was more interesting to me.

The Queens Head has a line that you must wait in to take your picture by it. The rock will probably not be around in 30 years because of the wind wearing away at it. We walked by and saw it, but didn't want to wait in the line.

I was amazed by the rock formations in Yehliu, Wanli, New Taipei City. I love the Queen's Head Rock. I strongly recommend this sight whenever anybody is in Taipei, Taiwan. You can just rent a van or join a tour group and it is only 40 minute ride from Taipei. The rock formations are really amazing and you can see the Princess Head I and II, the mushroom rock formation, the leopard, Queen's Head I and II, etc.

It is a nice cooling time to be at and nice walk at the beach area at this time of the year.

Interesting reef’s formation to look at which might not be there for long as the reefs might corrode further and the “head” might collapse over time.

Can pay a visit should one have the time and transportation to travel this far. Else can also give it a miss as it’s quite far away from Taipei city. Tickets are cheap though.

Landmark in the Ye Liu Geo Park. Usually there would be a queue if you would like to take the best angle with the Queen.
