We spent two at the beach in Castiglione della Pescaia and decided to escape the Sunday’s crowd with a visit to Tirli, which is only 25 mins drive. There are lots of nice restaurant in the area, specialised in handmade pasta and wild boar. Il Poggetto is a true hidden gem and as soon as we walked in we felt like at home. The food was sensational and I still can’t believe that I had homemade gluten free tagliatelle with wild boar sauce. What a treat for a celiac person! The little restaurant has had the gf certification for years. My husband and kids also love every bite of their food, he had local cured meat with home made pickles and carbonara with porcini. It was a memorable experience and we will definitely go back!!
