We were going to the beach in Ko Lanta so we were looking for something different in Phuket - and we got it!

Service: The service was impeccable from checkin (in their beautiful lobby, where we were given cold towels and a drink while we waited) to dinner in our villa to our 90 minute massages. Everyone we encountered was so kind and accommodating.

Value and accommodations: I thought it was a great value for what we paid and what we got - the views were spectacular and it was nice to be away from the throngs of tourists on the beaches. We had a beautifully appointed villa that had everything we needed and more. The pool was a fun treat and our rate included dinner in the room our first night (which was so appreciated after 24 hours of travel that day) and a 90 minute massage. We did get upgraded to a two-story villa but I would have been perfectly happy with the price we paid for the original booking. Oh, and the bed was SO comfortable - I am still thinking about it now. We kept some of the blinds open so we would be naturally woken up by the sunrise over the ocean/horizon - amazing.

Food: I thought the breakfast was very nice - lots of western and Asian options. The dinner in the room was very good as well.

Spa: As noted, our rate included 90 minute aromatherapy massages. We took advantage of those the morning we were leaving for Ko Lanta. The two masseuses were lovely and did a great job. The spa itself was serene, clean, modern and beautiful. It was part inside/part outside so you could hear birds chirping and water babbling.

All that to stay, this was a special stay we will remember for a long time. I was so glad we tried something a little different while in Phuket.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Villa was spacious and surrounded by greenery.

Pros:
+ Big, spacious villa
+ Quiet villas and area
+ Good breakfast
+ Good food in restaurant and room service
+ Nice bathtub in the room! :)
+ Good for relaxing

Cons:
+ Expensive villa, expensive food, expensive spa
+ The private pool in our villa had really cold water and it was in the shade, so it wasn't inviting at all
+ No restaurants / pretty much anything else near by, so you have to eat at the hotel restaurant unless want to take a taxi to get outside the hotel area.

Over all a good stay :)

This place is just ok. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. However the place isn't worth almost $400/nt. It's a ridiculous amount in Thai standards. Especially since I spoke to a Korean couple that paid $180 for the same room. That left a very bad taste. The breakfast was very poor. I've had better breakfast at simple bungalow resort in the beach for 2000thb.
What was really very bad was that the place felt like there is no soul in the resort. Can't explain it. There is never any background music playing. Just no spirit. The rooms are big but very tired looking. Not really pampering as you would expect from a 5* resort. The spa closes very early, 6pm. Also the place is very remote. There is absolutely nothing around you. The hotel provides a shuttle every day to the beach, which is a nice touch. Like I said the service and staff were wonderful. But that's where the luxury ends.

My wife and I spent about one week at Villa Zolitude in Phuket (28th wedding anniversary). We loved it! Top-notch resort, tucked away in the hills, very quiet and peaceful. Excellent and unconditional commitment to customer service.

The resort is somewhat centrally located on the southern end of Phuket, a few miles from the beaches and shopping. Not exactly close to typical places frequented by tourists - but that is the price for peace and quiet. The resort consists of multi-story villas built on the side of a hill. Excellent views of the surrounding communities. We chose Villa Zolitude for the tranquility it offered as well as the luxurious appointments in the villas. However, we did not expect the high level of customer service. The staff of Villa Zolitude went above and beyond. Mr. Ho and his team (Mint and Nui) were outstanding. For instance, to welcome us on our 28th anniversary, the team made a beautiful mural of flower petals and leaves on the bed. In another instance, we had a little problem with the air conditioner on one night. Mr. Ho sent an associate with a van to our villa within 2 minutes of our request to move. His associate helped us pack and re-settled us into another room. The whole transfer took less than 15 minutes. The next day, Mr. Ho sent a fruit basket to apologize for the inconvenience.

The villa has one restaurant. As you would expect, if offers excellent Thai food (recommend the chicken fried rice with fried egg – sunny side up). They also offer several continental dishes for those less adventurous. And of course, pizza and pasta are on the menu for those looking for the “comfort foods” of home. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection: omelets (made to order), pastries, fresh baked breads, pancakes, waffles, and breakfast meats. Breakfast also included several Thai and Chinese dishes.

If you are looking for a peaceful retreat in a top-notch resort operated by a customer-first team, stop looking. Villa Zolitude.

Room tip: Rooms higher on the hill have better views

On our first trip out to the East we wanted something special and after 3 nights in wonderful Bangkok we picked the Villa Zolitude after looking at hundreds of properties.

Simply we made the right choice for what was an exceptional relaxing 6 night stay in a hillside one bedroom duplex complete with infinity pool and a view that went on and on.

The 180 degree restaurant was excellent for our breakfast and evening dining needs. With excellent staff who always have a genuine and warming welcome.

Thank you for the attention to details & for such a wonderful stay

Room tip: You only live once so push the boat out ... you won’t regret it ....
