I think to get the best out of this resort, you need to have transport at your disposal. The reason for this, is that this resort is located off the busy road from Chalong to Kata, on a hillslope. There is nothing of much interest within close walking distance, and it will cost a lot of bahts to rely on taxis to ferry you elsewhere which is what we had to do.
Probably if you just to chill at the resort, this may not be a problem to you. The resort has several swimming pools and somehow it always seems to be quiet and devoid of any people on the premises.
We stayed in a junior suite on the 1st floor of the new wing, which was quite large and roomy. It was comfortable enough with a king-size bed and good free wi-fi connection. While the room and bathroom were clean, the outdoor balcony was showing some wear and tear; the jacuzzi jets were not working and neither was the light. The huge outdoor seat cushion was very grotty with stains.
The room had some strange design touches, the television was too small and could hardly be seen from the bed; and there was a lack of hooks to hang towels in the bathroom. The room was cleaned everyday but somehow lacked that final finesse. In general the entire resort seemed understaffed.

The breakfast buffet included in the room rate was very poor. So poor we gave up going for breakfast after the second day and preferred to sleep in. Sleep quality was good; even though there was noise from the busy road; when you closed the balcony door it was not apparent.
It must be said that the view from the room is good; you can see Chalong town, the bay, Cape Panwa across the bay and Ko Lon and other islands.
If the price of the room was cheaper, and if we had a rental car at our disposal, perhaps we could overlook the tiny little faults of the resort. If you are looking for something away from the hordes of tourists that swarm the island in peak season, this resort may suit you.More
