I stayed here for 2 weeks while visiting phuket. It's in a fantastic location with a 5 minute drive to Kata beach. Offers ocean views with great living conditions. Ideal if you want to enjoy some luxury and a very reasonable price. This is a great place to stay if you want to be near a nice beach or if you want to be slightly off the commercial hot spots. Situated on the hill under Big Buddah it's a fantastic resort for couples or
Families.
If you want please and quiet, this is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy your holiday.
Will go back when I stay in Phuket again

I usually do not report on premiukm level resort properties but this short off season stay was fantastic. The resort is extremely well kept the staff tended my every need and more. Off season breakfast in resorts are usually pretty grim, but this resort spared nothing. The was spacious, clean and had a magnificant view. The reception staff anticipated my needs and prepared in advance of asking. Even the restaurant was accommadating.

Room tip: Chalets are great, but if you choose a room get one on the fourth floor.

Very nice and well kept quiet resort away from the madness in patong and karon, we book the spa room which comes with a jacuzzi. Breath-taking view greets us every morning! Very very nice and the room is big enough for 3 adults and 1 child. Staff were all friendly and helpful even helped us book tickets to fantasea and gave us lots of information and other tours that we r interested in. It is a breeze to drive and park at their property as there are many parking lots. Near to kata and about an hrs drive to fantasea minus e traffic jam so we advise u set off early. We always get the swimming pool all to ourselves so it is a plus, not much choice for breakfast but their warm service makes up for it, if u wanna go for breakfast do go before 8am OR at 9.30am as there are many tourist from mainland china in the resort as well and they will usually wipe out the entire buffet table leaving nothing but a few slices of bread left and we have to wait patiently for the poor waitresses to keep refilling the trays.

Chalong fulfilled my wishes more than I ever thought it could.
Beautiful and gigantic room. Gorgeous pool all to ourselves! The other pools were just as lovely (5 pools all up) Our room has a small patio sort of thing with a couch and a jacuzzi!
The lady at the reception was very helpful and very friendly. The restaurant was quite good and offers room service along including bringing up cocktails! The massages we had were wonderful.
I actually can't fault this place. It's romantic and secluded and it's so lovely.

Ok so staying at this resort was one of the strangest experiences. This might sound like a bad thing but for a young couple like us that's not necessarily true. We were expecting a hotel style service level but instead there was no service. We went in phuket peak time and expected the resort to be packed but we felt like the only people there. We had both of the stunning pool areas (5*!) to ourselves nearly every single time, day and night.

A good example of this lack of staff is at the pool. We enjoy drinking while we relax in the sun and were excited that both pools had bars. Not once did we have a chance to order a drink and both were completely deserted. We bought our own beer from the shop and were happy enough though.

The view was stunning and the location is perfect if you are looking for a getaway. You will need to rent a motorbike though to get anywhere. Taxis are ridiculously expensive to anywhere and rarely come past the hotel free.

We were in the jacuzzi suite but I think the place is better suited for the chalets as the decor in our room was a bit dated. Very few toiletries provided, had to buy conditioner, hand soap etc as only body wash and shampoo were provided. It was clean and huge and the sheets were changed every day so nothing wrong with that. Jacuzzi filled up very very slowly (hours) but once full it was a great addition.

The chalets were all hidden away amoungst beautiful lush tropical greenery. Didn't get to look inside one but their location was stunning.

I would recommend this place if you are easy going and like to be left alone. Maybe if there was service it would be 5* as the reception were very friendly and helpful but It's hard to rate when reception is the only service.

Just remember, this isn't a hotel, it's a stunning place to stay though!
