Pleasant ambiance, service very good even though the place was very busy. Three of us had hake and champ that was excellent. The other member of the party had pizza that was undercooked, otherwise this would have been a five-star review. All four desserts were very very good. I plan on eating there again next time I'm in the area.

What a find! Roaring fires, great Guinness (the best we had in a week-long trip) and beautifully-cooked food. Staff were helpful and efficient and it was great value. What's not to like?! We had a wonderful time.

Just back from my second Sunday lunch in this establishment in two months. It was a cold, sleety February day but we received a warm welcome from the very pleasant waiting staff. The room where food is served had two roaring open fires, which were regularly topped up. We had two courses of the three course lunch menu and were pleased with the quality of the food. However, I have deducted one star as I think that the lunch menu is slightly overpriced for the food offered and portions are not huge. The price was just under 25 euro for two courses. A small quantity of their own lovely bread and dip was brought to the table prior to the meal itself. A small section of the dining area was given over to the sale of their own breads, cakes, dips etc, which look absolutely lovely. The toilet facilities were very clean.
