We were looking for properly dog friendly accommodation in north Cornwall for a three day trip and found this property on a well known booking site.
Upon arrival we found a large car park and were warmly greeted and shown to our en - suite room ( number 3 ), which although quite compact, was spotlessly clean and well equipped with all you would expect.
We dined in every evening and found the menu had adequate choices and the food to be of high quality, well cooked and good value, as was the divine Sauvignon Blanc that we took a fancy to !
Breakfast was served with a smile in the breakfast room with plenty of choice and again of decent quality and well cooked.
The Inn is frequented by friendly locals and has a convivial atmosphere with a couple of pool / snooker tables and a function room.
We found this Inn was perfect for our needs and ideally situated for exploring within a 50 mile radius, vitally for us the property is properly dog friendly and your dog is not just confined to your room.
All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
We will certainly be returning next time we are in the area.More
