Friendly staff and warm welcome and local information.New kitchens and bathrooms in the motel units have made it very comfortable and convenient to eat your New World food purchases at home. Good quality linen for bath and sleeping and despite being close to a busy road, sleeping is easy at night as the traffic slows right down. Walking distance to a railway station with limited service and one driving distance away at Petone (very limited parking weekdays) for regular timed trips into Wellington, only 2 stops away.

We stayed in nr. 4.
Great room and kitchen, huge bathroom with everything thing you needed.
The staff was fantastic and went beyond to help us.
It is only 10 mins. From Wellington on the highway.
Can hotkey recommend it to every body.
On the other side there is a huge shopping center.
Thank you for a great stay xx

Stayed here with husband for 3 nights.
Very welcoming on arrival and staff friendly and helpful with any questions Nice renovated studio and very clean.
Beds comfortable. Kitchen had all the basics for motel and bonus was a coffee plunger so you could make a good coffee.
Would have been nice to have a fan in unit as it was very hot and humid when we were there, and difficult to sleep in the heat.
Parking was right outside your unit and was very quiet at night.
Only one thing I could complain about and that was the shower - modern renovation with no base and great shower but the curtains were a good foot short of reaching ground so the water splashed around the bathroom. We tried to be very careful to try and stop a lot of spashes but still managed to get a trail of water right across to toilet. Full length curtains would stop this - or 99% of it.

We were travelling from Northland to Ch'Ch and stopped in at the Camellia for a night before catching the ferry across Cook Strait. The motel is only15 minutes away from the Bluebridge ferry but allow a bit longer if it is rush hour. At 930am it took us 20 minutes to get there. The motel is quiet and well set out. We had a boat and so needed a bit of extra parking and the manager was very obliging with sorting us out an area to park the boat. It was well away from the road and so was safe to leave unconnected to the car.
The rooms are large and have plenty of cooking utensils.

Room tip: The road it not very busy but a room at the back was good.

Nice, modern and spacious motel. Comfortable beds and good facilities. Appreciated the carton of real milk and well stocked kitchen.
Only slight negative for us was the very close proximity to a noisy road that the motel backs on too and how hot the upstairs rooms were with no fan so windows had to stay open which made the road noise unavoidable
