Small menu card, but all excellent and fresh products. To recommend are dishes including fresh truffle (tartufo). We discover also a local wine perfectly matching game dishes: the Verduno with a typical peppery note.

The restaurant has a great location in the very center of Barolo. We had a meal downstairs - large, cosy room surrounded by wines. The wine selection was very large, but no proper sommelier and advice available. The menu is very unimaginative, tourist orientated. The dishes were of mediocre quality (the rabbit stew consisted of very dry pieces of meat without any juice and a very few boiled and tasteless vegetables). We asked for pollenta and got two small squares of pre-cooked and bad tasting pollenta looking substance. Not a great experience.

The menu is petite but there is quite a variety of options available. The food is fresh using local ingredients and beautifully presented. The staff is delightful. A nice selection of wines to choose.

Stopped for lunch and we enjoyed the lovely outdoor court yard and the delicious food. Pastas were excellent, the hostess brought us back in the kitchen to show us how the ravioli is "pinched". The star of the meal was the wild boar with polenta. Great find!

This restaurant is in the center of town. The food was prepared and served in a gourmet style. The staff and owner made all feel comfortable and attended to promptly and as needed. They made the perfect wine suggestion. The Barolo Beef was a bit strong and salty for me but it was still good and I'm guessing made per tradition. I would recommend this restaurant.
