Description: Dining that feels on top of the world With a breathtaking design and an exquisite menu, our French fine-dining restaurant makes a heart stopping impression the moment you enter. Under the watchful eye of talented Chef de Cuisine Nicolas Boujéma, Signature's enticing menu offers an array of authentic French dishes, subtly prepared with distinctive contemporary flair. Beautifully presented, Chef Nicolas' delicious dishes are matched by the restaurant's stunning décor. With dining areas divided by silver partitions fashioned from carbon fibres, sunlight bathes the dining room by day, whilst at night, the glittering city skyline provides the ultimate backdrop for this unforgettable dining experience.

After coming from our intimate wedding at a nearby park, we decided to celebrate our wedding lunch here with dear friends. It was a wonderful experience with delicious French cuisine, top-notch champagne and wonderful service.

All in all a solid dining experience, service was as you would expect, food was excellent and the venue quite contemporary. Didn’t have the Wow factor that I expected. Nonetheless you won’t get better in Tokyo.

We had the 4 course and they give you 5 amouse bouches and a starter and bread, and an additional 2 x desserts so the 4 courses are more than enough to fill you up. The service was great and the views are obviously amazing. Worth the trip and for a special occassion we would go back. It is a bit pricey but that is expected for a Michelin star restaurant, it was well worth it.

I visited this fine French restaurant for Mother's Day lunch. I booked a discount course through a Japanese reservation site. The window seats were for couples, so we sat on a dining table because we visited with 4 people. The menu selected cold appetizers, warm appetizers, main dishes and desserts at prefix. Every dish was a beautiful presentation, and taste was complicated but harmonious, I felt that dishes were very high quality. Finally the chef gave our mothers a special additional cake at free. They were very pleased. It was a satisfying time for us.

My wife and I were lucky to be referred to Signature by our Tauck Travel Guide after completing our ship tour around southern Japan. The entry from the street is a bit hard to find as it is in the Oriental Mandarin hotel behind the escalators. Worth the search by newcomers to Tokyo.

The location is top of the line on the 37th floor. The greeting is typical Japanese: they know who you are before you speak a word despite typical dark clothes that do not announce: USA.

Décor is Japanese many shades of grey, black white, gold and silver. The background music is very muted. The carpet is thick to absorb the sounds.

Service is impeccable.

The luncheon is just what one wants depending on hunger: either a three, four or five course lunch menu. A cold starter, a warm starter, a fish course, a meat course, and dessert, coffee included.

We chose the four course lunch menu, dropping the meat course. Each course was excellent. A highlight was a vegetable salad of minute shavings made into a beautiful still life paired with a refined pea soup with a hidden quail egg.

An open wine Sancerre provided the four glasses necessary for the meal. As always in Tokyo, the wine prices and Pelligrino prices seem high. However, the bill for two all included was $250 and well worth it anywhere.

Signature's chef has a Michelin star I learned and is hoping for two. He trained at Auberge d'Ill in Alsace and it shows. Two stars is surely in the offing.

Do not miss a wonderful price worthy lunch with a stupendous view and superb service. As good or better than anywhere.
