We stumbled onto this great Indonesian restaurant by chance. It served delicious fresh Indonesian food like nasi goreng, spicy curry and Vietnamese pho noodles. The staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is not easy to find for tourists due to the weird design of the Roppongi Hills shopping centre.

Situated in upmarket Roppongi, Green Asia is a restaurant deserving of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. The menu is South East Asian so I was looking forward to some delicious Thai and Malaysian flavours. I ordered the soft shell crab in green curry and a side of rice. My crab tasted like it was from the freezer and the green curry sauce was very oily. It also came with 2 slices of deep fried baguette?! Ew. My friends reported their pho was also very oily.
The waiter was unfriendly and rudely told us as we went up to pay (split bill) that we shouldn't forget to pay for any of the items we ordered as someone else would then be left to pay for them...of course we would pay for everything we ordered! He then repeated it to other members of our group.

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT.

A great place for something different! Not your typical sushi-ramen-katsu, we all had different dishes infused with a Southern Asian vibe (Malaysian? Indonesian? Whatever it was, it was fantastic!) I would recommend lunch or dinner after shopping at the huge mall nearby.

Decent but not exciting food--spring rolls were ok; pad tai standard. Nice atmosphere and solid service.

For tourists who wish to take a break from ingesting Japanese food (albeit healthy and world-class), the Asian dishes offered at Green Asia Tokyo make a great alternative. Conveniently located at Roppongi Hills, access is thru the Metro (I just walked from Azabujuban). The al fresco area is perfect this spring (and imaginably in the summer and early fall).
Tip: Check out the reasonably-priced daily set lunches.
