The room was too small and looks very old. Good thing we only had an overnight stay after staying for 5 nights at another hotel in the Ariake area of Tokyo before proceeding to Osaka.

It was quite a walk from the train station.

The stuff is very kind and professional. The location is great, and actually part of the underground system that connects you to Shinjuku centarl station and the nest restaurants. BUT (!) the room was very small, too small. There was no place for putting down the There was no place to put down the suitcases, and actually no place for two persons. No place to put your clothes. I felt that the room was originally a single room.
Sorry.

Check in was comfortable and the staff were helpful. We don't speak any Japanese but the staff were super helpful anyway. We had ordered pocket wifi which had been delivered to the Hotel but couldn't be located when we checked in. They apologised and quickly located a temporary replacement so we weren't inconvenienced at all.

The rooms were comfortable especially considering the location, which is fantastic. The walk isn't too long from Shinjuku Station but would definitely recommend a taxi (approx. 600 yen) to save the 10 minute walk with luggage.

There's a convenience store attached to the main hotel which is handy too.

Room Tip: Great location

And also we are happy to hear you liked our hotel`s room. our hotel located at Shinjuku area which is one of popular downtown in Tokyo. distance From Shinjuku station is about 10-15mins on foot. As you recommend if you carry a lot luggage you can take a taxi, and its not that expensive. Taxi station is right front of Shinjuku washinton hotel main building. and in our main building there has convenience store its small but full of basic goods you may need at daily life.

The pictures that this hotel advertises are not close to what the rooms actually look like. The carpet smells horrible, the beds/pillows are hard as a rock, the room is so tiny and there is no space what so ever to lay out your luggage, you have to pay to use their computers and it’s not cheap to stay here. It doesn’t seem like a hotel at all and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

A good hotel with easy access via the limousine bus from the airport. Be aware that in the annex ( and possibly for the main too) that there are smoking and non smoking floors. It seems you do not get much say in which floor you are on. Luckily I only had to spend two nights on a smoking floor. The hallway smelt worse than the room so I guess it’s not too bad.

The staff are super friendly and have reasonably good English.

Remember when checking out take both key cards, even though they are paper they have to put them both in a machine to check you out. ( don’t panic if you can’t find it. I couldn’t find my other one.. there was no stress )

The area around the hotel is bustling with night life, from traditional ( gambling/ games) to food and drink.
The underground world of Japan is spectacular! It’s awesome to discover what’s down there!
Go on an adventure and discover the amazing things you can do

Dear guest,
This is from Shinjuku washinton hotel annex front desk.
Thank you for choose our hotel.
Shinjuku hotel has two buildings which is annex and main. And front of main building`s main entrance there has a limousine bus going to airport. So you dont have to carry your luggage all the way to the station. and you can buy ticket at annex lobby, main building`s lobby and main building`s first floor information counter. And yes as you said both building has non smoking floor and smoking floor. So when you make reservation please check the right floor you want to stay. if you made wrong reservation of smoking or non-smoking, please check with front desk first, if there has vacancy we will change to non smoking or smoking room for you, but if there has no vacancy then im sorry that you have to stay at the room you reserved. But we are sorry that the hallway too smelly made you uncomfortable. We are so glad hear your compliments to our hotel staff, we will always try our best to bring best service to our guest. About room key main building and annex building`s room key are different. In main building you have to bring all room keys you have to front desk for check out. But for now in annex building, it is okay you just bring one room key to check out. In the main building there has several restaurants and some entertainments. If you tired go far then you can have meal in the main building. as you mentioned the underground in japan is worth to visit. Fashion shop, restaurants, Miscellaneous goods etc.

Thank again for take your value time leave us comments here.
hopefully we can serving you again next time.

Best regards,
front clerk KOU
