Josephs cottage is a warm comfortable well equipped cottage furnished to a very high standard and a real home from home. It has bags of character yet all the modern conveniences we all expect including good wifi, comfortable beds and sofas, a well equipped modern kitchen, and well fitted bathroom. Although the cottage is on a relatively busy local road we were not at all disturbed by traffic noise and if you prefer to avoid parking on this road the cul-de-sac next to the cottage has ample quiet parking.
The welcome pack is comprehensive and extremely kind, we were provided with bread, eggs, butter, milk, biscuits, crisps, wine. Tea towels, bin liners, washing up liquid, sponges, tea, coffee and sugar were provided and you could turn up with nothing and still eat and drink comfortably for the first meal.
Many thanks to Ann for her hospitality, a highly recommended cottage with 2 good pubs within easy walking distance (the cliff and black swan).
we have just returned home from staying at this wonderful cottage, arrived saturday with my husband and 2 children age 7.the first thing you notice is how clean it smells and looks look a bit further in the lounge you see a fresh vase of flowers on the table.,, a tele unit full of dvd's,a sideboard full of box games, carry on into the kitchen ,but mind your hear low doorway height ,not a problem for shortie me but my hubby had a few bumps on the head here you will find a nicely fitted kitchen, the owner had left a welcome pack, a very nice touch, fresh bread butter.red wine tea, coffee.sugar, biscuits the and milk, all this much appreiciated, from the back door leads to the long cottage garden which the children loved, would highly reccomend this cottage, great location too
