This hotel is truly a recommendation to stay. The place is amazing, the staff very polite ad helpful. The hospitality is wonderful. The breakfast is very tasteful! If you want a good place to spend a few days, this hotel will serve you well!
My compliments to the owners Chris Becker and Eric Dickerson for giving my daughter so much love and attention and definitely a good memory.
Hope to be able to visit again!

Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay with us and your time in Hawaii. It was fun for us as well, talking about your country and travels around the world.
Please come back and stay with us again if you make it back to Hawaii.

What a lovely, tranquil spot to stay while visiting the Volcano area! A cozy nest with everything to feel comfortable and cared for. Chris and Eric provide such wonderful, warm hospitality with an eye for detail. There are lots of special touches like flowers, quality snacks, luxurious linens, special bath products, etc. They even checked before we arrived to see what we needed and when we requested half and half-they had organic available!

The sound of the birds and rain and view of the tropical jungle outside your window adds to the magic. We highly recommend this beautiful spot!

We stayed here two nights and would do so again. The owners are absolutely delightful, friendly and kind. The Haiku Garden room was beautiful and very well appointed. As others have noted, there was fresh-baked banana bread in the room along with a basket of fresh fruit. The refrigerator was stocked with cheese, crackers, yogurt, juices, milk and sparkling water. A variety of snacks were also provided, as were earplugs for the occasionally barking dogs across the street. What I wish we had understood was the housekeeping policy. We have never stayed in a B&B, or any lodging, where the room wasn't serviced every day. When we returned from our visit to the park in the afternoon, we were shocked to see that the room had not been touched. The dirty breakfast dishes and coffee cups were still there. We did not understand that we were to ask for clean plates, cups and utensils, as well as more yogurt (or any other food items). As soon as we did, everything was delivered quickly! The philosophy (policy) is that the guests' privacy is to be respected. Totally. My advice is to STAY HERE but know what you are getting (or not getting). It's a beautiful, comfortable retreat and we will definitely return next year.

Room Tip: Both rooms are beautiful!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We try to strike a balance between privacy and attentivness as many of our guests are couples on their honeymoon or a romantic getaway. We're always available just across the lanai, but will try to make it more clear in the future that we are here if anything needs restocked or cleaned during the stay. Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve our guests experience!

What a fantastic find! At the Craters Edge is a true boutique accommodation. A gorgeous setting, there are only two units to rent so it feels like a private oasis. The park and the town were both close by, thought not necessarily walking friendly. We took advantage of the hot tub surrounded by rain forest flora and fauna. Our hosts were gracious and accommodating, and the snack/ beverage selection was spot on! I’d go back in a heartbeat.

I had never been to any of the Hawaiian islands, and was excited to just get away from the everyday. I wasn't expecting such a thorough release of tension, all the way down to my soul! It was just so pleasant, comfortable, and accommodating, that I left smiling at everyone the entire way home. I am grateful for such a "power" spot, some place that the batteries can get fully recharged.

Room Tip: Both rooms were just as lovely as the other.
