We stayed at the Zion lodge for 2 nights during our honeymoon.

We were thoroughly impressed with the lodge and would most definitely return.

As the hotel were informed that we were honeymooning, we arrived to find a bottle on champagne in our room, complete with an ice bucket and two glasses. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Unbeatable location, but the rooms were small for a family of four. However, it was totally worth it to be able to be in the park and walk to the trails. We walked the Middle Pool trail next door and the scenery was sublime. Also recommend the restaurant.

Room Tip: Depending on the weather a room close to the main lodge is convenient.

Excellent base to stay. Lovely ambiance in the checking in area with friendly staff, good restaurant with friendly, accommodating staff - buffet breakfast very adequate. Amazing place to stay - the scenery is breathtaking, especially when there is snow, sun and blue sky. Cabin was a little chilly at times, but the fire was nice to have. Kinda cool there was no TV but having the all necessary wifi was handy. Good to see that the soap/shampoo/conditioner/shower gel was in eco-friendly containers - totally great idea - all hotels should do this!

We stayed at Zion lodge on a winter package, which included buffet breakfast for 2 each morning. We stayed in a cabin, which was beautifully furnished and had a nice fireplace. The food in the restaurant was very nice, and we also dined in the nearby town. Being able to access trails from the lodge without having to jump in the car was great, and the park is stunning. Having recently stayed in a number of national park lodgings, Zion lodge is definitely my pick for the friendliness of staff, cleanliness and overall ambience.

overall a nice clean cabin. The staff were helpful and courteous. The room smelled a bit like septic tank but I think it was peculiar to my cabin. I stayed in winter after camping one cold night. Overall, very nice stay in a beautiful park.

brilliant location
food in restaurant really good.
coffee not so good though.
beer brilliant! try their zion brewery lager!
liked the eco-fittings in the rooms - nice to see there's a company trying to save the planet more than "towel on the rack means use again".
nice suite - heaters in room warmed it up nicely - just had on for half an hour and the suite was toasty.
no lift from 1st floor to 2nd floor (if you're american - if you're english i mean ground floor to first floor!)
so if you have heavy suitcases be prepared for a workout!
would like to stay again in summer or when not raining!
lots of lovely walks nearby but we couldn't take advantage because it rained for our one night we were there!
also the staff were nice, helpful and friendly

Room Tip: no lift to 2nd floor

The beauty of Zion National Park is breathtaking. The Lodge adds the comfort you need to explore Zion, by car or hiking. I stayed in one of the cabins for the rusitc getaway I was seeking. No TV, a small but adequate fireplace to add the ambiance I wanted, clean, and perfect to cozy into. The lodge holds check-in, a gift shop, a small seating area, and the upstairs restaurant. Reservations are a must, at any time, as this seems to be the best way the staff are able to handle service. The smaller restaurant was not open this time of year. All cabins seemed to have views of the stunning cliff walls, if you look above the parking lots. There are two cabins to each building. There are two larger buildings that hold the hotel rooms, which have TV's. Well worth the visit.

Room Tip: The upper floor suites in the hotel rooms are the better choice. Cabins closer to the lodge avoid b...
