It's new, very nice, convenient & very comfortable. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. It's close to Zion and close groceries, gas & coffee.
The owners have thought of everything when putting this place together. Absolutely perfect for two couples. Actually the nicest house in the town! Can not think of anything that could have been improved.
La Verkin is a great location for access to Zion, Bryce and St. George. IT2 was perfect for our needs. For 2 adult couples each in their own ensuite, king size bedroom. Kitchen was well appointed and we took advantage of the oven, and the Gas BBQ grill which made the trip very economical.
This vacation home is close to Zion National Park and about two hours from Bryce Canyon. Its proximity to both these locations makes day trips reasonable and doable. The owners thought of everything when they decorated and stocked the house. The kitchen has any small appliance you might want, including a fantastic waffle maker with a box of waffle mix and a bottle of syrup! The bedrooms are furnished with king and day beds with the most comfortable mattresses and thick sheets. A dispenser with shampoo, conditioner and body wash is provided in each shower.
The house is within walking distance from two coffee shops that have delicious coffee, homemade popsicles and baked goods.
My family and I were shocked and thrilled by all the extras that the owners provided. If we return to Zion or Bryce, we will stay at this house again.
We spent several days/nights in this new vacation rental. We booked before it was finished, so we were a little afraid to book not seeing the finished product, any reviews etc. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a gem in the desert. It had everything you could want and then some. The beds are fantastic. The décor is simple, but had some nice pictures of the surrounding National Parks.
There are four of these little places and we got to see inside all of them. They are all similar but with some variations like what the cabinets are made, roof material, exterior style etc.
La Verkin is a great place to use as a home base to visit the parks. This place is off the main road and is very quiet.
They had just put in the landscaping in the front, so it was nice to see some grass and trees. The only drawback is that the back yard is still being worked on, but there is still a patio and barbecue back there with some patio furniture to sit in the early morning shade.
The kitchen is compact, but has everything you could ask for and more. They even had some pancake mix and butter for our breakfast.
It was really hot while we were here and the air condition worked wonderfully. Each room also had a ceiling fan which made things even nicer.
We were excited to see a washer and dryer there, and although we were not there long enough to use it, it would have really been handy for longer stays.
There is a great little grocery store only a couple blocks away and a fantastic little coffee shop on the way to Hurricane.
All in all this was a great experience. All of our communications were very professional and the keyless entry code let us check in late without having to meet up with anyone.
We hope to come back again, and will definitely stay here.
