This review has nothing to do with the fact that we were travelling with a toddler. Our kid has camped a few times and is a breeze to manage in such 'adventurous' conditions. So leaving aside that, the poor facilities as I mentioned is based on the fact that nothing in the property is maintained to the standards that one feels justified to pay such a high price for glamorous camping!
There is nothing glamorous about flushes not working, doors of toilets not shutting properly or the fact that there are not enough toilets or baths provided for the amount of people being hosted in the property. The grass is not mowed....ok forget that, it's in the wilderness so be it. But I really cannot get over the condition of this so called glamorous tent! It was full of mould inside-out and the bed had some bugs which amounted to more discomfort than any amount of mosquito bites. Please keep in mind that we've camped in the most desolate places in the most unglamorous set up with the very basic necessities tied to our back packs and a hole in the ground for a toilet but I will expect a 'glamorous camping' charging hotel prices to be a different set up. The photos put up in this site are a lot from the neighbouring resort-The kota Tinggi rainforest resort. It was misleading. The owner however was very friendly, helpful in providing guidance to what is around and cater to any special dietary requirement if any. The food was fine but cleanliness of all cooking areas and equipments was not upto good hygiene standards. I just feel it's too high priced for what it offers to guests. The saving grace is the area it is located in. It's very scenic and if you are driving, you can explore by foot and wheels to a large expanse of this lovely green place. Perhaps you can just stay in the neighbouring resort!
