I booked this hotel at the last minute when I managed to procure World Cup tickets for my son and I.
Naturally, the price was 3x what it would have been normally, but I was happy to pay as part of a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The rooms were very basic with the smallest hotel TV that I've ever seen and there was a lot of noise at night, doors slamming etc.
However, the service was impeccable (an unusual experience in Russia) and the food in the hotel bar (while watching England lose) was exceptional. I was expecting lazy Soviet stodge, but it was delicious fare.
This is an excellent airport hotel and there is a shuttle that goes direct from outside the terminal. However, if you need entertainment, I would watch content on your laptop, but if not, at least you can say you've watched the smallest hotel TV in the world.More
