The location of the "resort" is its best feature. Nestled in a Valley high in the fabulous Dolomites in the village of Sappada, beauty abounds in every direction. The narrow winding roads to reach it might be a deterrent to some, but take your time and you'll be fine.
As for the accommodation, we have never had an RCI timeshare exchange where we literally had to rent our linens for the week and supply our own toilet paper, hand and dish soap! The kitchen was well enough equipped with a gas cooktop and mini-fridge and adequate utensils and dishes. The pool, restaurant, and recreational facilities are all defunct. There's supposed to be Wi-Fi in the rooms, but it is very weak to non-functional. Good Wi-Fi in the lobby. The laundry is 3 euro to wash and there is no dryer. There's a drying rack on the balcony and one in the shower.
Arrival to the property is through a tunnel to an underground garage, with the reception down a dark hallway. Don't expect Google Maps to show you the way... Look for the sign above the tunnel off the main street. It's a good enough place to sleep, and be a base of operations to see surrounding attractions, but not up to our usual RCI expectations.
